This was terrific. I never heard of Stacy Sims. I just started following her. I'm 53 and do a 13 hr fast. I shoot for 90-100g protein/day. I'm 125lbs. I wake up hungry and always want & crave a challah roll when I get down to my kitchen. Is this bc I didn't have enough protein the day before? Ido if Stacy is looking at these comments but would love to know what she thinks. Subscribed to this channel. Thank you

I am a 43 year old woman who works out. I listen to quite some podcasts on the subjects of glucose, caffeine, hormones, fasting, how oatmilk for example is just starch and highly processed, cleaner eating etc. I am a bit confused why you would say: Eat within 30 min after waking up? What about melatonine? What about trying not to intake caffeine within the first 1-2 hours after waking up? What about the big glucose spikes that just promote cravings during the day etc? Hopefully I get some answers later on in this podcast…😊

This is so so good and thank you to both. Legit info especially being in premenopausal and craving to LHS. I'm no longer interested in weightloss/fatloss, and far more interested in building and keep muscle on my body now. And I absolutely loved my early 40s and excited for grow and unlearn, something about that feels rebellious! Thank you so so much 💗

He is very underrated. He has the very best podcast. Heaxa is a shining example with his own diet style, which he tries to keep out of his podcast to stop bias. He's vegan. His diet is absolutely 💯 🔥. But he gives great advice for those who want to eat meat or dairy, fish with sound unvoased scientific evidence. A close 2nd is Gil Carvalho. "Nutrition Made Simple (tgey have interviewed each other. 3rd is Chris Mckaskill channel "Plant Chompere and Simon, Gil and Chris have interviewed each other. Chris and his research is utterly outstanding.

Great conversation providing a good source of information backed by research and primarily focused on women. Currently, a lot of information circulates on the internet and among experts. One can get confused and really not know what is best for us. After watching this conversation, I feel informed and know what is best for me.

So glad to hear Dr. Stacy Sims separate sense from the nonsense....taking into consideration the difference in sexes> Intermittent fasting etc.

You always talk about dyslexic personne who have GIFTED IQ. They do best things not because they are dyslexic but because they have high IQ. I don't think there is anything good in dyslexia more than a normal personne. But a personne with a high IQ have some quality that normal person don't have. I'm dyslexic and i'm not gifted in anything. All my life i try to find a job where i can be good better than others, a job where i can be gifted, i NEVER find the super power you talk about for me, OR this power don't exist for a JOB ! You talk about gifted people with dyslexia not people with normal IQ and dyslexia.

I am a thinker in a vacuum. The emptiness of all the knowledge that my brain cannot memorize because it is too slow and which can only treat very small amount of information and that it will only remember very much can. This mental mediocrity is due to my dyslexia this deficient brain that I hate so much that destroyed all my dreams and which destroyed all my professional projects because always I was in check in everything I wanted to do or learn. I hate this shit brain.

I fell like, it’s just food! I had been keto over 6 years. Now, basically high protein, low carb, and healthy fats. I don’t crave foods anymore. I use to love pasta, Mac and cheese, chocolate chip cookies, ice cream. I have allowed myself these foods and really didn’t enjoy it. In fact I do get Binghamton sometimes and I actually binge on low carb foods.

Maybe the carnivore should consider, they feel good, because they gave up processed foods and sugars and inflammatory foods…,

Great video! My boyfriend and roommate are both dyslexic, and it’s fascinating how similar their thought processes are. Their resilience, creative thinking, and emotional empathy really stand out. For example, my boyfriend is incredible at negotiations-he notices details I often miss. I have ADHD, and as a communications coach, I’m constantly finding creative ways to communicate effectively. It’s amazing how unique perspectives can become strengths in unexpected ways!

Sorry, but this wasn't all that helpful. Ways to pop the "productivity" myth include: - criticism of neoliberal capitalism and its roots in puritanical Calvinist Protestant Christian theology (UK, USA and Europe - criticism of confucian theology and filial piety dogmas across Asia - anthropology critiques of how the human evolution move from nomadic lifestyles (dependent on nature to survive) to a sedentary agrarian lifestyle, caused "hard work" ethics to emerge (dependent on yourself/other human labour to "produce"). That analysis- then goes back to ancient philosophy /religion. Jesus said - why worry for the morrow, it will take care of itself. Why do you worry about what you will eat etc. God cares for the birds etc yet how much more valuable are you, that God will not care for you even more? Humans are obsessed with "productivity" as a global obsession with "survival" - fear of death. "Productivity" is the ultimate denial or rejection of a transcendent source of life : this denial or rejection causes humans to "believe " they must "produce" their own means of survival. Marx said what distinguishes humans from all other animals- is that humans "produce" their own means of survival: class, is the way humans force some to produce ("labour") for others' consumption (non labouring "elites"). Productivity- is a belief system of the masses. You do not see royal families and aristocracy, plagued with concerns about their own "productivity". Princess Catherine (Kate Middleton) is fortunate that on her cancer diagnosis- she could "quit" all public engagements - forever - without a change in her luxury lifestyle. The masses who are diagnosed with cancer - don't have this luxury. A neoliberal capitalist economy obsessed with "productivity " as a measure of "GDP" - demands everyone without their own wealth - "engage in employment hours productivity and increase productivity". Be honest with your KZbin watchers and your audience- productivity is a belief system demanded of the masses by left and right wing western neoliberal governments, corporations and capitalist economies.

...The most... Recently, 10,000 research papers were retracted. Papers change every 10-20 years, some of them still anecdotes. Some only finding result with solely help of the numbers, no observable tests ( knowing the exact mechanism of work)... some of them pure profitiring... how you, sir, think that you have the right to talk about such complex topic? Have you been arguing with others and counting your and others numbers of data? What if you are now spreading things that are might be lies? What are your risks if you eventually might be false?

Ecstasy has been found to cause Parkinson’s and early onset dementia in Sydney. There are large numbers of gay men over a few decades who were taking an ecstasy pill on a Saturday night to go clubbing; possibly moving on to taking more than one - magic mushrooms results are still anecdotal and so called bad trips that exacerbate mental health problems are brushed under the carpet- much more research needed 🙏🏻

No wonder the two - interviewer and the interviewed get along like a house on fire. They both talk so much - meaning beating about the proverbial bush - just to convey a simple point!!! Very easy to loose track of what is being said since so many other subjects are dragged into explaining a simple but pertinent point!
