Doesn't all those short cooking intervals end up wasting a lot of time because each time you start cooking you have to wait about 10-30 mins before pressure builds up enough for the cooking to start🤔

No, the smell isn’t the cardboard. It’s the fryer. Gotta run it at top heat empty a couple of hours before first use.

The directions say what thickness to use the probe with for temperature. Maybe opening it so often affects the cooking time.
