Covid was created, that disease was created to establish a technological world to isolate people, so that people do not interact, do not hug, in short, do not have person-to-person contact. Yes, it killed many people, it is true, but it was more the fear that existed that was greater than anything else and besides, IT WAS NOT THE ILLNESS, THERE WAS AN EPIDEMIC OF FEAR, OF HORROR, OF TERROR, IT WAS THE FEAR THAT THEY WERE GETTING IN THAT WAS KILLING AND DRIVING PEOPLE CRAZY.

Father of twins here. They are going to start kindergarten next year. I totally respect homeschooling and would have taken that option if it weren't for the fact that I see a clear interest of socializing with other kids. I also know how exhausting it can be for parents who do homeschooling. Hats off to your amazing mom! Thanks for sharing this with us.

Uh, I remember that terrible time when i started going to school. I had to wake up so early in the morning and then I had to walk about 1 killometer to school alone. Both my parents worked all day so the whole 1st grade I had to be in the school until evening when parents took me to home. Though at 3rd grade I got used to school.

This sounds good for a person who have a high level in English, but suppose I want to learn the past tenses in a conversation, and I want to be corrected by chat gpt when I make a mistake, plus I want CG to be able to understand what’s wrong with my narrative form of language and push me in the right direction and interrupt me to correct me. Is it possible? Can you help me ? Sorry for my English I’m french and I still have problems with the past tenses 😢

I bought these glasses because having just turned 59 years old, I need a really good prescription pair of glasses. So when I’m driving I can easily view my dashboard on my Tesla and take in the metrics, messages and information available not just on the dash but also on the main screen to my right as I sit in the car. So progressive lenses made sense. Also transitions did as well, so I don’t need to switch back and forth to sunglasses. So far in my list of why I purchased these frames, no AI talk yet. The reason why is because AI wasn’t the primary reason for me purchasing a nice set of frames…it was a secondary one. I have a project that I am working on with another professional person which involves AI. Being able to have the glasses with AI incorporated into them is part of that project. Any ideas which come to me as I use the Meta frames on my day-to-day will inform that project, give me ideas and a sense of how AI can be useful in what he and I are planning. So far, the glasses are…amazing to have for assisting my actual vision, amazing to have for taking videos and pictures during those “brief moments in life when you don’t have either your phone or a camera in hand” 😊and otherwise just a “nice to have” so far regarding AI. I value them as Rx lenses first, and AI second. But it takes time in order to learn HOW to use the AI elements which they offer. So far the big surprise has been how convenient it is when I have been able to take many photos and videos…that’s a great feature. The photos and videos come complete with GPS location data, time taken etc. Regarding using AI, I have also been able to gather information about what nice hotel is available for us to stay which is within walking distance of a Lakers Game that my wife and I are going to. I’ve also been able to ask Meta what it sees. This is an important feature; the Meta AI can literally look and tell you what it sees, while knowing where it is located at any given time as long as you have your phone on your person while using it. I own a sailboat, a thirty two foot Catalina 320 out of Dana Point Harbor. I’m curious next time we take our boat to Catalina Island if my glasses may be able to tell me where we are and how fast we are moving. Why not at least try to see if that will work? So the possibilities are endless, and the ability of these glasses to perform will only continue to broaden and become more capable over time-much like the Tesla that I drive. I’m excited to see where all of this takes us. Someday these glasses will include technology to allow images to be displayed on the lens’ inner surfaces. I already own a second pair of glasses, the Xreal AR Pro Ultra glasses. Those contain twin cameras at the high corners of each right and left lens, and offer six “DOF” or “degrees of freedom” in what they are able to display. Think of putting both hands out in front of you and seeing digital hands complete with articulating fingers which mirror your own actual hands as they are extended out in front of you and manipulating virtual or augmented reality objects. Things like screens with office applications, movie screens, or digital AR items like an imagined baseball to throw, or perhaps a digital nerf gun to use while hunting an imagined (or real, similarly glasses-equipped) opponent during a game of “AR/VR tag”. If you are wondering if you should get these glasses, only do so if you are curious and want to learn about this technology. If you expect it to be perfect out of the box, you will be possibly a little disappointed. If you have expectations that are low enough, and patience, knowing that the tech will gradually grow over time, then yes. These glasses will be a great virtual or AI Assistant to you in the coming months and years-for sure. The future is bright. Let’s see what happens. It’s only just around the next virtual horizon, right in front of us!

As a non native English speaker who's studying to become an English teacher, this video exemplifies the struggles of non natives. In the beginning, you want your target language to be exactly like your native language but then you realize you have to express yourself kinda differently to be correct and sound natural in your target language. Using your example of the verb play, I'm going to use Spanish (my native language) to give a similar example. In English and Spanish you play boardgames, you play sports. But in English you also play an instrument or a video. In Spanish you say "tocar un instrumento" (literally: touch an instrument) and "reproducir un video" (literally: reproduce a video). If you're learning Spanish and you say "jugar un instrumento" or "jugar un video", the first sentence could be interpreted as "play with an instrument as a toy" and the second one doesn't make sense. That's why I totally hate anglicisms in Spanish because they sound unnatural or don't make sense at all.

Just came back from Japan. There is no tipping and service was better than USA. In Japan they brought the food and bill at the same time. I could enjoy the food for as long as I wanted and only flagged the server for drink refills. I paid at the front desk using tap to pay which is more secure. I never felt any pity for the server because the restaurant pays them fairly and they don't rely on tips. The American tipping system makes customer feel pity for server because the restaurant underpays them and makes them rely on customers to make up the difference. The server pressures you to eat quickly and leave so they can get as many customers as possible and more tips. They also take your credit card to a backroom which opens you up to credit card fraud. The American system ruins the dining experience.

Hey Luke, I got a question. I've been learning English for over a year, since I was 14. And I found people who started learning my native language (Portuguese), and they can speak exactly like someone who was born and raised in Brazil. It's crazy! Due to that, I started getting interested in improving my English skills to try to achieve the same results they had. Honestly, it's very DOPE! Anyway, I wanted to know if that is indeed possible, mostly in my age, or if they were probably lying. I'm 15 years old, and I've been doing shadowing a lot tho, because that's the main tip that everyone who speaks almost like a native gives on KZbin. If you can answer my question, Or maybe make a video about this topic, That'd be awesome, I'd appreciate that, Have a good one, sir 🙏
