Hoarders are mentally deficient. And collecting model kits is hoarding. You, and many like you are fucked up.

From my fifty-plus years in this hobby, I’ve discovered one thing…. Plastic model builders are mentally deficient. They are classic case hoarders which is considered a mental disorder and they are obsessively compulsive. This is why I quit IPMS to get away from these sick individuals.

Happen on this great little video. I have been using Parafilm M for the last 10 years and have never had a problem with it. I have a large roll of it, and I still have plenty left.

Interesting, would been nice in millilitres. American and UK old measurements are different. American gallon is 3.78 something liters where UK gallon is 4.5 liters. That's why a lot of content creators use milliliters and litres, they don't change. Cheers Graham

Hi! Just came across your video. Thanks for sharing. Can these recipes be used with both water and solvent based acrylics?

I'm wondering if exista small tools that are recplicas of the big ones that can fold metal sheet, also used to build real size body car parts, especially for clasic cars... It would be really nice to play in this way..take a soda can aluminium sheet and start folding with that mini tools...probably the results can be really impressive..

Thanks a lot for your advise. Did you test your thinner with AK 3rd gen paints? A lot of modellers have issues to thin it properly for airbrushing. Thanks again.

Your recipe for the "cleaner" is way too ambiguous ... is it 100ml or 75ml Windex ... how much alcohol? The math doesn't work out.

Good morning from sunny Brittany in France. I have returned to modelling after a 30 year hiatus and have bought my first airbrush. Your paint thinner recipe doesn't add a specific flow improver or retarder. Instead you add Glycerine as in the cleaner. Have I understood your video correctly? If so it saves me from buying two more chemicals. Thank you again.

I just used this technique on a 1/72 f35a canopy except I used clear purple instead of yellow and I'm shocked at how awesome it turned out. This video has saved me a lot of headaches. Thank you!

Hi! I intended to use this technique on a 1/48 SH-3 with Tamiya Clear Green. However, I got so involved in alignment issues with the windscreen piece that I glued it down, used putty, sanded masked and painted all before I realised I never tinted the overhead glass. Can this process be done on the exterior side and still end up fairly transparent?

why do you put glycerin in the thinner?

As soon as you started to spray the gold paint, I immediately started to think, it may have been better to paint the whole car white first. Did you ever complete this build??

Revisiting this video as my recipe has changed. I now use Simple Green instead of non ammonia Windex. I also use a little flow enhancer in the thinner. Cheers from eastern TN

Great build, looking really good. I recently built a Meng F-18F Super Hornet, and that has similar engineering for the wing tips. Very nice kit, went together really well. The Phantom looks much the same. Was there ever a Part 3 for this series? I've been enjoying it, but I can't find the 3rd part mentioned in the outro.
