Reading your own annotations is life-affirming. It confirms we're alive. That might be why we all like "journaling" and making marks that we will then re-read. I think our psyches sometimes wonder if we're really here. Eventually, we will all get to an age where we want to leave something behind to prove we were here. This at least lets us know right now. Into the Drowning deep is an adult Science fiction/horror hybrid not a thriller. It's about killer mermaids, reads like a scifi monster movie. It's by the same author of the Wayward children's series, but it reads different. Although be prepared to make multiple trips to the bathroom and drink lots of water, her water metaphors are a lot. 😂 It's really good though. Slow start, but worth it. Love your chaotic unboxings as always Lochlyn.
