Loch!!!! Please be kind to yourself! I know im like super behind on your vlogs still but loss isnt easy. Not that its comparable, but i lost my grandfather 13 years ago in october and its still a struggle for me even though it was so long ago. It took me 10 years to even like halloween again. (He died the day before it was our holiday we always did together) so please know that even 10,15,20 years from now even if you feel like you cant cope its normal. Youll always feel that pain but just know theres so many people sending you so much love hope and faith 🩷🩷🩷🩷

I love how it turned out! I liked what you said about keeping track of 5* versus monthly favorites. There’s no guarantee to have a 5* every month. I started doing book journaling last year - it’s so fun / therapeutic to make it. I didn’t fill it out as much as I wanted last year so I hope they bc I changed some things (to track less), I’ll be more inclined to use it this year. Yours is so cute! 🌲

If that particular page is the last one for "books read" then don't forget to glue the "read" title to a whole page so that you can flip to the next page without that title hanging out. Also, I think you forgot to color a bookshelf in that bookshelf two-part spread. The two shortest ones between the top and middle ones. Hopefully you already got that done by now. Loved this! You did such a good job. I loved all of the craft paper you used. It had such Twilight vibes! Haha I find it hard sometimes to narrow down what spreads I am going to do because I just want to do them all! 😜

The journal is really pretty . I didn't know they did patterned covers. If I would keep up with spreads like that I'd do that but I have my trusty fully.booked planner that I just about keep up with haha

Recommend: if a book is on the chopping block, physically take it off the shelf and make a maybe pile. It will give you a chance to go back over it all once you see how many you’re definitely keeping, and more often than not, when I come back to my maybe pile at the end, I feel much less attached and inclined to keep things cause I’ve spent time mentally parting from them in my head and some of them I might try the first chapter or 2 of before deciding
