One of those rare songs where you remember exactly where you were when you first heard it. And the video as good as the song. This dude smart as hell predicting what we are now experiencing full force: 14:10

Tremendous musician.. Hugh cornwell … I mean down in the sewer live .. in the late 70s.. Glasgow epic track cressndo ending…. He has wrote some class music… and his style of guitar playing.. not easy… it’s hard work… h don,t like woke folk… and he is correct about the woke… culture… he insists it stops creativity… any way… the stranglers still cutting the groove…

I nearly got beaten up at a Mega City 4 gig, at The Borderline in London, for wearing a Swervedriver t-shirt (Duel with a big waterpistol on the front) that a guy mistook for Screwdriver t-shirt. It does happen. 11:30

Grew up listening to them. The thing I love about them is that their songs never get old unlike most groups back then. Got fed up with conflict after 32 years hearing the same thing. Crass was a great band alongside Icons of Filth🎉

At the end he says Eddie to Oed, hahaha, he doesn't even know his name. There's a question I would love to know, that if I were the interviewer I would ask them and is, what happened with Robert Minning, the last drummer? We don't know much why he left the band, and he was a very important part for the band because he created amazing rhythmic parts.

Id love to know the effect they used on Ivans voice on the song "pop goes the world". That took the song to another level. It was that effect that made it so good. It softened the rough edges. Song never gets old.

I wonder if there’s any awkwardness between Haskins and Diva. If I had my daughter in my band, I’d feel pressure to be Dad the whole time, instead of letting loose to just be a performer.
