Hello Christine. What a beautiful video👌❄️❄️❄️ It was on 999 views now 1k😁 You haven't done a video for a long time. I hope you are okay. This year could be big for you. Why not try a bothy stay? I've been to 3 only stayed at the one. I started another little channel just for shorts. I don't you seen any of my videos though. I hope you are okay and can get out again soon. Spring will be soon. Later this month I'll go to my 4th bothy and stay the night. Keep having fun👋

I attempted to run it which ended up turning into a hike very quickly lol. Be careful of the wind, I nearly got blown towards some sharp drops also be wary of rocks that stick out of the grass which is a good reason to stick to the paths and have a good flashlight when it gets dark. Walking down Jacobs Ladder was a pain, literally gave me cramps walking sideways all the time. I couldn't find a path that wasnt too steep in the dark and I didn't have hiking shoes so I went to the very steep hill slightly northwest of the lake and tried to slide down on my backside which actually turned out to be much quicker and more convenient than zigzagging my way down lol. Beautiful place though, it felt like I was in Lord of the Rings.

This is fantastic and so glad I found this. My first ever trip to South Wales and looking for a lake and a nice hike to a ridge. I am struggling to find a video that has this lake then a walk up to the ridge, to the trig and not take in Lyn y Fan Fach? I can see a route splitting the two. Is that ok or best to retrace steps? Also where did you peark please. Thank you

This video appears to have been flipped horizontally in a short section in the middle. At 4:02 she is walking towards the reservoir with it on her left shoulder (as it should be). Then at 4:12 she is still walking towards the reservoir, but now on her right shoulder...? Normality is restored at 4:51. All very curious! :-)

Hi Christine I was delighted to meet you unexpectedly in Waterstones , Bath, yesterday! 😃 I really enjoyed this video and despite misty conditions it's a pleasure to watch. I always appreciate your choice of music and I notice you are using the music very intentionally (eg at 2.50, 3.40 - dramatic moment! , 6.27) like having music scored for the film. Well done. It's great to see how your channel is growing! Sasha x 💕

A really good video Christine. That is an awesome walk. I completed the same route, but in the reverse direction, last May. I also inlcuded an 'out and back' to Yr Elen (making the walk just over 12 miles). I was lucky with the weather, a sunny day, so I had the views. Definitely worth another visitfor you (if you haven't already been back).

Hi Christine, I have a teenage memory of walking across Llyn Ogwen (no, I'm not a God it was February). What, no cake at the first stop, what is happening 😂. Do you have a no view no cake rule? An expertly filmed video Christine, I was thinking to myself at the beginning how lucky you seemed with the weather, always that way until you get to the top and then...clouds! Couldn't agree more on picking a day with good weather, I've done that little scramble section myself, not long but the rocks are slab-esque, not like Tryfan's South Ridge across the valley which is a much more stable climb. I was there recently and witnessed mountain rescue helicopter onto Pen Yr Ole Wen for a rescue (did notice a lot of people going up with what seemed a lack of equipment...) Sad to see no baked goods, but looking forward to your next adventure all the same.
