I have a question about LumeCube. I bought one, but I had an issue with it and returned it. I used it a few times, charged it to 100%, and left it for two days. When I wanted to use it again, the battery was completely dead! I charged it again, but the same thing happened the next day. I'm thinking about buying a new one or choosing a different brand. Was this an issue with my specific unit, or have you experienced the same problem with yours?

I have not had anything like that happen to mine, Ive left it for a month and it holds the charge, I also have another cube from neewer that works great, and you can control it from an app on the phone if you ever have a need for that sort of thing neewer.com/collections/mini-lights/products/neewer-sl90-12w-on-camera-rgb-panel-video-light-66600927?ref=yzxqidtj

"The big mac factor" is a technique used by economists to compare economies around the world and how long it takes to earn enough to buy a Big Mac. 10 cents is perhaps the majority of my sales, how ever the other day a sale was made that was worth about 3 Big Macs.

Another great informative video. I've been watching your videos for a while and have downloaded a few to repeatedly watch them. I however am curious about you having some 3400 odd photos only on Shutterstock. I mean i've browsed through so many profiles on shutterstock with many having over ten's of thousands of photos. Have your earnings on shutterstock accumulated through these 3400 photos only or have you deleted many of them? Sorry for being so intrusive but your videos have inspired me to take up stock photography but as always i am filled with doubts P.S. who's this ELIZABETH ANN LARSON being so highly praised in the comments below
@wollertz
@wollertz 16 сағат бұрын
Thanks so much! No intrusion at all, at one point I fell for the quality over quantity and worked with SS on removing 95% of my portafolio and only keeping the ones with sales. BAD idea, my sales dropped a lot, thats why I say upload as much as possible and the bad photos will help find the good ones. Some day I might find the time to re-upload, but for now its fine, I have other things that are a priority. I searched for LIZABETH ANN LARSON, it seems to be a scam, trying to get people to invest in crypto. I removed the comment 🤷‍♂️

@WollertzPhotography I was wondering about one thing, do you know if stock agencies do some "house cleaning" from time to time? In other words can stock agency delete your photo from the database once it was accepted? For example deleting photos that didn't sold for X times or something like that?

@wollertz
@wollertz 5 күн бұрын
By changing angles, backgrounds, lighting, zoom angles, using different descriptions, and spreading put the uploads, dont upload the same subject in one batch, if you have 100 images of the same subject, upload 10 a week with other photos mixed

Hi. I currently upload to 4 agencies. In some I have to write a sales price and in others I don't have to put a price at all. In one of them, the biggest of all, Adobe Stock, sales are very reasonable. In the other, I don't put a price on the photos, Shutterstock paid me 0.20 cents in two sales. I haven't had any sales on the two that I price Pond5 and motion elements on. Is it worth using Pond5 and motion elements, if so what prices should I put on the images? I put them all at 10 dollars. Thanks
@wollertz
@wollertz 6 күн бұрын
I don’t bother putting prices on sales, I is Ulla y go by the recommended price, I have a pond 5 account, but since Shutterstock bought them out in 2021 or 22 sales have dropped, I do sell things occasionally but not often, shutterstock is my best earner at $0.10 a photo, sometimes $28 or $72 depending on the use of the photo, Adobe is #2 averaging $0.99 per sale

I would like to start trying selling stock photos. What is the minimum resolution/ quality the photo should be which most stock photo companies would accept? Do you recommend a starter photography style camera for beginners? Can I just use my phone? lol! If I took 20 minutes a day to stage a basic photo, surely something will sell out of the 365 photos/ year I submitted. Why not try right?
