it is incredible that a man can have a voice like this...it's angelic... he is able to vary his voice in a very fine and subtle way... there is the quality of the voice and its capabilities, but also the quality of what the person's soul transmits beyond it... I also found that the orchestra around him was very subtle either...

I agree for Sandrine Piau... what I like in her voice is this purity without artifice... her voice has a great ability to take us over the earth... I listened to her while making a cruise in Chilean Patagonia... it was perfect with the vastness of the landscape and the lights on the water...

excellent interpretation...informed by the "historically informed style" but not prisoner of it....not afraid to engage in vibrato and passion. Different from the cool precise almost mechanical Bach that passes for "correct interpretation "

Un timbre qui glisse en douceur, comme on disait autrefois : "une voix de velours". J'aime moins les 'r' roulés qui étaient la façon de les prononcer dans le chant vocal baroque, mais plutôt dans le profane que dans le religieux.

MY favourite interpretation of this masterpiece from Vivaldi. Sinkovsky puts so much mystery and suspense and dread in his performance, it is really doing the eerie beauty of it full justice. Bravo.
