hello ! can ot be done with BMW ASA (no clutch)?
@advmotoskillzАй бұрын
@@filiplesiak5096 Short answer is yes. I have not tried the BMW ASA but I have ridden the Africa Twin DCT, and done some elephant turns on it. If I were to try the ASA, I would do in “M” shift mode- for maximum RPM power. I think being in “D” shift mode, the automated gear changes would override our intention of wanting maximum rear wheel spin. A nice feature of having a clutch on a bike is to play in that friction zone to deliver the amount of power to the rear wheel as necessary.

As you practice clutch friction and accelerate slowly from the accelerator plus slow pressing of brake of the back tyre, can it help in slow moving while making a turn or moving slowly while balancing the motorcycle?
@advmotoskillzАй бұрын
Yes. Correctly combining the friction zone, throttle control, and rear brake is the trifecta of technical slow riding. The last component to master is proper body positioning to counterbalance the bike as it leans while riding at slow speeds.

Whats good while driving in muddy/slippery road? Tc on or off?
@advmotoskillzАй бұрын
@@v3nom_senpai I prefer TC off. If the rear wheel starts to slip because there is no traction, being able to twist the throttle and get full wheel spin can allow the bike to continue with forward momentum. With TC on in a similar situation and you go heavy on the throttle, the power to the rear wheel will be interrupted and you can lose your forward momentum. 👍🏻

When you are doing the first exercise, do you use rear brake, do you put your foot in position to brake with your rear tire? If not why?
@advmotoskillz3 ай бұрын
Good question. With slow-speed riding drillZ there is a balancing act combining the use of the friction zone, throttle inputs, and brake as needed. The combination can depend on the terrain you are riding on. I sometimes will “drag” the rear brake to slow the bike so that it will tip into a turn. Other times just pulling in the clutch is all that is needed to cut power and slow the bike so that it tips into the turn,
