Hey there Gap, If you are ever in the Virginia, and are running down I-95 hit me up. The track is about to change for next year. hopefully I can get it done before Oct. Make it a little longer and ad one or two jumps just to keep it interesting. Awesome Al. I wonder if they beefed up the composite parts, what is the next weak link? Would it cause more damage if there isn’t an easy part to absorb those tumbles? Awesome runs and testing. That thing is a beast.

Hi Trey, the composite parts are beefed up, the only issue is the metal inserts for the screws, if you put to much torque it will pull them out. I know it might just be me with the grub screws holding on to the drive pins, but even after putting more loctite on them and really cranking down to make sure they don't come loose. They still did🤔🤔🤔but they are easy fixes and I will be ordering new drive pins. There would definitely be a LOT of DAMAGE if those easy parts didn't absorb all of my TUMBLES!!!!!!!. Hello John, when I lost sight of it I didn't want it to end up in the farmers field, I think this one is faster than my Kraton 8s. It is a large truck and the heaviest one that I own. Glad you liked the FPV, just watching the front end you can tell that my back yard is not the smoothest.🤣🤣🤣. Thanks for stopping by to watch the video and for the awesome comment. Hello Speedchaser, This motor esc combo fits great inside the FireTeam. I didn't have any issues with it at all. Even with the 40x40mm fan. For me, it's a well-balanced combo for any large 7th scale truck. Now, on 8s, it's a wild beast 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Thanks for stopping by to watch the video and for the question. Nice update Al Unfortunately they never made the center diff carrier and the rear half shaft carrier in metal however I have actually got a center diff carrier in alloy that it was custom made for me by a machine shop also for the rear half shaft carrier I have used a DBXL carrier and had a custom made mount for it as they seat at different hight do it has to be raised . the other problem with that is trying to get the correct bearings for it as it's a od size .as for the drive pins I would recommend drill bits just use the round section and with a multi tool make a flat spot on it ( drill bits are a harder metal also is better without the angled edges ) On the pinion it should be ok without a point in the grab screw as long as it's tight and the loctite is set . Still is a good bit of kit and great to see it out again keep it up 💪🏼. Have a great weekend!

Hey Fonzie, thanks for watching the video. really appreciate it, I did check their website and they do have a center diff carrier but not one for the center half shaft. I will check out the DBXL parts, and hopefully they have one. I wish I knew some one who could make a center half carrier, I would definitely get one made. I know the hex (allen wrench) is not the best thing for it, but I do like the drill bit better. I have put loctite on the grub screw so many times, I just gave the e-clip a shot and so far it's working great. I like running and I will be ordering some drive pins soon. I wanted to try something different then my usual RCs and the companies. This is a interesting RC designed for track racing and now I will find out if it will take the bashing that I will be doing with it. Hey Mads, yeah! it's a nice kit really detailed to put together. I pretty sure it not meant for the type of bashing I do with my RCs but, I won't know until I try. I know it will do well on the track, but it needs better tires for the track and I may have to get a few more stadium trucks to run on the track. Very cool and I was a little surprised at a 1/10 scale truck showing up! It looked very happy out there and I am sure with some track tires and some practice it will rip around the track very well! It looks like a very quality kit as well! I have a spare motor and esc that could go into something like this.... hrmmmm... LOL!! Take care my friend and I hope you are having a great weekend!

This is a zippy little RC and it is lighter than any of other 10th scales, looking at it against my Vorteks it small. Now I need to find out which tires work on and off the track. Hey Dirk, I was watching a few video's on this little guy, and wondered if it would take the punishment that most of my cars go through. But this video was just to make sure that everything is working correctly. I do have plans to see how well it does off the ramp, off road and on road speed run. It really is designed for 2 or 3s lipo but I have a 4s sensored system in it, see how it handles it. Thanks for watching and for the comment, take care and best wishes to you and the family.

I just looked at a few channels for the GL Racing and I never thought about a 1/18 scale racer, but that would be a great project for the winter time. Hello John, yeah, I had to do the walk of shame, but it was all enjoyable. It was a last min thing that she came over and wanted to run a few RCs, so I didn't have time to wet the track down to keep most of the dust down. She had the fastest buggy, but I wanted her to have a good time so that is the reason why the handicap 🤣🤣🤣🤣. It's nice when she comes over and wants to have some RC fun. I messed up yesterday when I put a 15t pinion in a k6s . I think my esc overheated due to the no throttle and flashing green light . Maybe horizon will send me one .

Hello Hungrybird, Thank you for watching the video and for your comment. Did you say 16s, or did you mean 6s? If you turned off the esc and turned it back on and still get the red flashing lights and no throttle, the esc is in thermal shutdown. You might think about upgrading the electronics to handle what you wat to do.

It looked great out there and it sucks the tumble took out few things. I am sure you will have it back in top form shortly!
