hiiii i’m also sitting the lc yhis year , personally i’m doing the first 3 questions since they’re guaranteed titration organic and other keep in mind they will always ask about preparation apparatus which is an easy question, question 5 is a good one too (chapters 2-7) there might be a lot but it’s pretty simple once you set your mind to it and could possibly be a question 10 also question 6 is fuels and heats of reactions which is a good chapter (chapter 21) yes there’s a lot but it’s not a hard chapter. for other choice i’m planning on studying ph n water and chemical equilibrium!! also learning and understanding all the basic definitions and you’ll be okay !! 💕

Oh my goodness guys😅, I feel so bad for you because I heard that last year's chem paper ( your LC year ) was terrible because many of the questions that people had intended to come up, had not come up! I feel horrible and if that was me, I would be crying all day. How did it go for yous?

Yes, it was so bad, I only prepared for the predicted ones and but somehow still got H3.... Anyway I felt like I did really bad cause I didn't even actually answer any question completely for which we had prediction..... But result shocked me... I expected H5 or something cause it went bad...

@@KiMai omg I can't believe you actually replied! I'm an Italian exchange student and I'm here just to attend the sixth year so I don't have all the notes my classmates took in the fifth year. if I could see what you said wasn't in the book but still required in the exam it would help me a lot :)

@@gionnybanana9613 awh you are sweet! and welcome to Ireland 💕 my tips for maximizing your grade and time for now would be to forgo making notes all together since there isn't much time left for the exam anyway! rather maybe make notes only for chaps you find hard for those chaps my tips would be: 1. read the chap in the book 2. find the most imp info and gather it in one place which would be your notes. 3. watch yt videos on the topic and add all the info you need to do well in that chap 4. do exam qs on that topic and add whatever you find in marking scheme in the notes 5. this should result in most concise and exam focused notes as you can see this technique requires a lot of time and effort which is why I will suggest only doing it for hard chaps but doing it this way Will ensure that by step 5 you will have learned so much along the way . this is also why I don't sell my notes since by doing this process yourself the notes become effective otherwise they are pretty ineffective 🥲

thanks for watching! I would say if u correct the long answer as an examiner where u can give urself marks for each point mentioned and see if u got the most point by comparing the potential answers to the marking scheme. e.g if they asked me about the qualities of being an employer and I mentioned 4 of them and 4 of these are in rge marking scheme, I would say I would get most marks, provided I answered the question properly

hehehe I don't remember the exact answer but I think I said yes I am interested in it and then steered the conversation towards something I had prepared 😂

depends on where u r in the year, 5th yr and start of 6th , yes but later on focus on past papers to prep for the exams

hi, it depends on the person and on the teacher, if u like doing past papers and ur teacher isn't giving u book qs as hw, then u will be fine to continue with exam papers, however if u do find urself getting the exam qs wrong, it's worth doing the book qs to get a hang of it

not at all, my practice scores were all over the place sometimes I was getting 90th percentiles and most times 50th lol so I wouldn't trust them, in the real exam I got 80th

it is possible but depends on a few factors. Some of which include if you will be taught by the teacher ? how much committee in a week are u able to do? do u have support? etc and if everything is covered then yes it is possible to cover the course in a year. It will be harder but doable

hello that's unfortunate to hear but we can make this a learning experience and hopefully increase our grade. 1. so first of all, you will have to do some analyzing. What made the test hard? what topics were in the test?could u have done something diff? what was tge best marked q and what was the worst? you will have to be honest with yourself at this stage and find your weaknesses. is it because u actually didn't study at all? this will be a hard one to answer since this will involve analysis your own self. 2. after you have figured out the issues, start cracking them right away. over summer don't stress about 6tg yr rather whenever u get time, work on ur 5th yr content. the chaps u found hard and make a plan if u want. 3. gather your resources. figure out what study works best for u? find KZbin videos, online resources, books etc and start making some notes for yourself. These should be tailored to u. make notes of things U find hard. 4. practice practice and practice. try doing qs u find hard, make note of qs u find hard and go over them often. 5. you can reach out to me on my dms on insta for more qs. hope this helps 💕

hmm I haven't done phys/Chem so I can't compare them to phys and Chem separately but I suggest looking at your course requirements and seeing if they make a distinction about them, if they don't then u can choose which ever :)

ideally for every subject but you can start with either subjects u find hard or subjects you like

I would recommend doing it simultaneously, write notes on one topic then do exam as on that topic. then move on to the next topic. This is a bit time consuming so change around according to how close your exams are. Exam qs always get priority over notes
