You can see that Dallas defense hitting its prime. Their speed just kept the Bears offensive rhythm off all day. Tom Thayer throwin' a great block @2:10:55!

The only problem with this game is that it should have been played at Memorial Stadium on 33rd st....even Marchibroda thought he was coaching Baltimore Colts...as he mentioned when Irsay rehired him....Have i mentioned that Irsay sucks yet....yes...i from Baltimore...

Payton was #1 greatest all around back. #2 in rushing. Smith was faster but most football historians would agree. Nothing better than sweetness sweetness

At 2:02:00 - in 1991 the Safety gets "Replay of the Game". In 2024 he would get a lifetime suspension lol.

The more I watch these old games the less I blame Switzer and the more I blame Zampese. This play calling is surprising nobody. If Switzer stays on, they draft Moss, and get another play caller they probably make the 98 Super Bowl and maybe the 99.

Scott had a few awesome seasons with the lions . He was not a wasted signing . The waste was the lions o-line !!!! Barry got yards in spite of that line . Mitchell had a 4,000yd season with the lions .

In 1977 I was a 13 year old die-hard Broncos fan. I knew every starting player, every stat. Watching the Dallas defense maul Craig Morton was hard to watch. This play had me in tears. RIP Golden Richards, Robert Newhouse, Otis Armstrong, Rob Lytle, and all player that made that 1970’s era of football special.

I usually wonder how the seemingly or usually stoic acting Pat Summerall kept himself from getting amped up from Frankie Vinci's theme music during the "NFL on CBS" games from 1992-93? It's one of those themes where if you don't get goose pimples then you might as well not have a soul.

Sterling Sharpe was one of the best recievers of his era. I believe that he is one of the best ever. Honestly. Sterling was a force of nature. He was the the size and strength of OLB's combined with with recievers speed. And? He rarely, RARELY, dropped a pass. Brett, Reggie and Sterling? These 3 would have attracted so many really great players. Packers have played long game because of Ron Wolf. For a long time.
