Gary Glitter's jacket has a picture of Gene Vincent on the back. Elton John has the same jacket. I saw that jacket in Dallas and tried it on , it fit like a glove , but it was $300. I met a guy who had a jacket made by the same people with Eddie Cochran on the back. Said he found it in a thrift store. Lucky bastard.

the drum machine used sampled real drums and percussion, its call the linn drum mk1 its digital, and its the deliberate signal proccessing thats fake sounding upon the sounds as oppossed to the actual samples themselves. the linn is still one of the best sounding drum machines even today. and yes a drummer in situ seems silly when its a sophisticated drum unit used.

Derek, Mel, and Mick were the true force behind Simple Minds. The 80s were spectacular and timeless because of bands like this.
