Was the manager at this Mobil petriol station up the side of Euston Station when this video was made .Ian was a really nice guy and i remember the day well.Stiff records had booked the site for a couple of hours but believe it or not it took eight hours of filming to make this 3 minute clip . you will notice some of the shots are in daylight and some in darkness . RIP Ian sadly missed by many Dave Weaver

I grew up in Altoona Pa., a railroad city with zero culture, and somehow I discovered Ian Dury's Laughter in 1980 and played it endlessly!! in my last year of high school. A tremendous send off for bigger adventures in the wider world!!!

Did they film this at the petrol station just north of Euston station? I call the 3 tower-blocks U can see in the background "Legoland Camden" 'cause they look just like giant lego buildings (yeah, I know they've got a different official name.)
