If you stare at the contact point between track and wheel, you can't tell if you're moving forwards, or backwards.

Brings back so many memories when I used to travel by train a lot. I didn't realize though the rails of the train track are so thin in comparison to the wheels, let alone the train itself. Trains amaze me more than planes.

How is the wheel wider than the rail? It over hangs the rail too much I think?! I’ve never seen a train wheel over hang that much??!

When I focus on the wheel and track, it looks like the train is moving forward; yet when I saw the scene on the right, I then knew it’s in fact moving backward.

Good video! If the conical wheel is say 3 inches wide, I wanted to see how the Flange moves away or close to the track while on turning. If you can shoot, showing both wheels while on curve it would be wonderful
