Very clear as you give the rationale for each step. It is easier to keep the steps in mind when you have the WHY of what you are doing. Thank you.

Very clear instructions.❤ I wonder why it is called a hem stitch though. I learned this as a blanket stitch, which of course makes a lovely hem.

what length is your table...wondering how long to warp for a scarf with short twisted fringe? i want tge twisted fringe to be maybe 2" when done....not sure how long a fringe to start with to end uo with about 2" twisted?

If you have more than one warping peg, or an over the door coat-hook with several hooks...tgese are even better, imho. using one peg...some warp threads will be slightly longer (especially if you have a wider loom and are making a wider warp...because the strands coming into the one peg from tge sides will be slightly longer than those closer to the middle.

Thank you so much for this video! You are my constant companion every time I warp my loom, even though, thanks to you, I have a pretty good handle on it now. I just find it reassuring to have your calm, helpful instruction on hand. And, the tips you provide are just excellent. Thank you!

I have a cricket loom and have been afraid to proceed on my own. Of all the videos I've sought out on warping, this is the best one! It is thorough and her voice is calm and reassuring. Thank you!!!

Love this tutorial. I’m a brand new weaver and your warping tutorial really finally gave me the confidence to try it. I noticed you didn’t use waste yarn to begin weaving?

It wasn’t until the last remarks when you said you were from ns that I realized I’ve been in your shop and purchased a heddle reed from you last year! It’s a lovely shop and I’m glad to discover your videos!!!

I really enjoyed your tutorial. I'm not clear on the first part of getting the yarn around the apron bar. Are you looping the yarn every other pass? One over the bar, the next time under the bar? Thank you!

Agree that this is so thorough. My question is can the loom sit on n table when weaving instead of in lap?

I warp mine the same except the bowl with the yarn I place on a chair by the back of the loom, so the bowl, the loom, and the warping peg are pretty much all in line with each other.
