Looks and sounds really great I am currently running my Lennox gas furnace at the moment and it's keeping me warm and toasty.

@Jets-and-airconditoning This was in my old house, I don't live here anymore (I moved out on November 28th 2023 too the one with the 2020 3 ton goodman goodman straight cool unit matched up with the 2020 goodman gas furnace), but it worked great while I was there! Infact in heat mode we kept it at 74 usually and it would still be cycling on and off when it would be in the low 30s out

Me personally I don't want heating season especially since I don't have a heat pump in my own house if I did I would still not want it but would be excited when I would catch defrosts

Now in heat mode I can't hear it at all unless I'm in the bathroom and it's quite in the house or when I'm in the room that the unit sits right outside of

My goodman furnace does the same thing with cool mode when it ramps up. Mine is a gm9s80 matched with a gsx14 5 ton heat pump. These are great furnaces.

@BRISTOLFORCE2009 it's crazy how these fan blades are so rusted when I had a 1995 rheem gas pack that the fan blades were definitely original and yet weren't even close too being as rusted as the blades on this unit (only the nails that went too the fan blades were rusted on the unit I'm speaking of)

Also thank you for clarifying that it was from 2018 I have trouble with Lennox data sheets cause I know the first 4 digits tell the week and year it is made but I keep forgetting if the first 2 is the week and the next 2 are the year or the other way around so thank you for telling me!

The only difference between my Daikin, and your Goodman, is the heating, height, and tonnage.

With all respect, I hate gas heating, they make me sick for some reason, plus they don't do cool defrost cycles. They work good but not for me, and propane is expensive where I live.

This unit runs on natural gas and the gas meter is on the other side of the unit just I didn't think of showing y'all it hissing while it was on

And I like how well a gas heater heats the home but I like seeing the unit defrost more too so I would rather have a heat pump

And I had a heat pump in my old house but when we moved back at the end of November the house were in right now ended up having a gas heating unit which I was so mad about!

6:09 I meant if you have a heat pump and it's on in heat mode then the suction line will be blistering hot while the liquid line will be cold

Our unit even thought the thermostat is set too on on the fan the blower slows down but not all the way when the unit turns off and speeds up too full speed when the unit comes on instead of staying at full speed that's why you thought you heard the blower turning on and off when the unit turned on and off even though the fan is set too on on the thermostat idk why it's like that but it doesn't bother me too much Edit: Tbh I feel more air movement when the air is on then when the heat is on idk why I do but I do it still blows all kinds of air in heat mode just I feel more when the air is on then when the heat is on Edit 2: I'm sorry I couldn't get a good shot of the flames in the furnace Edit 3: And ignore one of my cats towards the end of the video
