My parents have a 2017 XLE 4-cylinder in that same color combo that they bought new which now has 91k miles with no problems as expected. It replaced their previous 2004 Cadillac DeVille which was a very nice & extremely comfortable car, but had non-stop problems. I recommended the car for them as I had a 2015 XSE V6 (my brother has it now).

what is the max BHP/WHP one can take out from a N54 on bolt on's and also can the transmission be upgraded without any hassles? E60

MHD stage 2+ can get you 420hp to the wheels with bolt ons. Ive heard of custom tunes pushing it 450. Anything beyond that you will need upgraded turbo. Auto Transmissions are known to hold 600hp without issues. Manual can also hold the same with clutch upgrade, if not they start slipping.

high pressure fuel pump went out. Was replaced under warranty.

Was lucky to find a low low mile 99 z3 coupe with the 2.8. It has an intake and upgraded clutch, Renown steering wheel, deeep deeeep dish center lock style wheels and I think it needs that burble tune. Couple questions* Did you need a cable for the laptop? Did you do an increase in rpm or idle? I see it’s offered with the tune. 91 or 93 fuel? Thanks dudes!

Yes you need to buy a Dcan cable to connect car to laptop. No the idle stays the same, but your gas mileage will suffer by a few miles per gallon.

This product looks like it is made with nice materials, and it fits nicely and serves its purpose. That being said, since it's so reflective, the velcro and bolts stand out and make it look randomly placed/terrible. I would make it all one piece, smooth out the lumpy top line, and make the holes for the straps much closer together so they don't look like weird random slants.

@@jacobcone5945 no major repairs at all ;basic maintenance oil changes and tires ;and I get 40 mpg if I keep the eco light on by being light on gas pedal :) hope you enjoy your purchase as well

I got the bumper from a part out. I used car-part.com to locate a wrecker near me parting out m sport 535/550i. Good luck on your search and thank you for the comment!

@@MSU.15 once you take care of all the oil leaks(Valve cover gasket, OFHG, oil pan gasket), water pump they’re fairly reliable. Other problems that may or may not arise are turbos, injectors, dme mosfets, rear main seal.

Yes they are slowly getting expensive all around the world. The black 3.0 only has a muffler delete.

If you want the car to last you should be changing the transmission fluid and engine coolant every 50k-60k miles.

Wish I was more proactive with the transmission fluid. I changed at 130k when it started giving me problems. It’s been good since. At 174k miles now

@@rono Well, you're almost due for another transmission fluid change soon. Don't forget to replace the internal transmission filter too. Don't neglect your engine coolant either because it becomes very corrosive as it ages and it'll eat away at the aluminum radiator and engine from the inside out. Brake fluid is another one that should be changed once in a while because over time it absorbs moisture and will rust the brake lines from the inside and that water in the lines can also heat up and boil inside the brake calipers and when that happens you'll loose all brakes and probably crash. Moral of the story is "ALL" fluids should be changed once in a while, not just engine oil.

@Prepare2Survive yeah you’re definitely right I’m due for another transmission oil change. Tbh I have not touched the coolant or brake oil, I’m gonna change them soon, thanks for the tips. It will give me a chance to learn how to bleed the systems. That’s the only reason I have been hesitant to change those. I just top up the coolant as needed.

It's called a strut brace. It connects the front two strut towers and makes the chassis more rigid for better handling.

You’re right. I did my first transmission oil change at 130k miles after the transmission was jerking at around 2000 rpm. The oil changed fixed the issue, car is at 170k miles. But the transmission is weaker than before, wish I did the oil changes more often.
