Greetings! Your art is beautiful. I work on a lathe too, only I work wood. Now I want to learn to turn stone. So breathtaking! I imagine it takes a lot more muscle. Congratulations on your artistry. Ah, but I realize it is the filmmaker whose channel this is. You do an excellent job! My name is Briana and I live in California, USA.

How thick brass sheet can be cutted with that scissor?
@PersianHandCraftsP8 сағат бұрын
I think these scissors can also cut 2.5 mm copper sheet. But these scissors have different dimensions and strengths. I will soon post an interesting video of how they are made. 🌹🌹✔✔

What is the powder they use to put on the copper and silver while heating?
@PersianHandCraftsP9 сағат бұрын
Flux: This powder or chemical acts as a flux, facilitating the soldering process. Flux creates a protective layer on the metal surface, reducing oxidation and allowing the metal to bond more effectively. In the case of copper vessels, the flux often contains compounds like borax. Borax is a natural mineral that is used as a flux in soldering and brazing metals.🌹🌹✔✔

a piece of art by a master craft I remember from my childhood when my mom every year had our copperware whitened by a "Messgar " who used to bring his gear and tools on a bicycle and make a temporary set up on the sidewalk and the whole neighborhood brought their copperware for whitening I also remember that he charged by weight of the finish work so to cover his cost of materials such as Charcoal, Neshador, Ghale, Acid, etc. I hope that this ancient skill will remain and not die

So, he (photographer) cut away to heating a different vessel after closing the end of the amphora and then to the closed vessel again being dunked into a weak acid to clean it (we see him (craftsman) scrubbing it after... does this mean he (craftsman) did not solder the bottom to the sides? Did that happen and they did not show it? Is the solder lead free, I doubt it.

Unfortunately, I (the cameraman) was unable to be present at that scene, but that's the way things are and they'll weld it together. ✔✔👌👌🌹🌹
