What tube or pipe did you use to connect off the tail light filler neck. I bought one from LS Fabrication, but I need something to tie it the Boyd tank witch I’ve been on the fence about buying but you just helped me make up my mind on the Boyd tank. The filler neck I bought is only 4 inches. Any websites I can go to find what I need. Thanks for sharing your video

That looks like the Ecklers kit, and if so, it costs $900. It looks better than the LS Fab kit, though, which I bought and am having a hell of a time installing.

@@C10Robert $300 was already $200 too much... $900??? for a plastic fill cap too??? whoever buys that has got more dollars than sense... especially with all the work needed to install. will buy a $40 neck and fill through cap and do it myself and flip it up so the hose wont break the tail light or hinge. and cant fall open cause it falls shut.

I’ve always locked mine, then you can advance up to 36-42. Rear gear in mine is 3:73 and at 65 I’m 3000 ish

It’s dumb to move the gas tank they never had any problems with them back in the day somebody’s just selling gas tanks

Thank you! 🙏 Update videos have been slow bc there are few things Im not revealing till the truck is done and we do a big reveal event and video so I got to work around those things. lol I should have some more vids of it coming soon! I love having my girls out in the shop with me, they love vehicles as much as I do! 😇

Make sure you set the timing curve in the HEI and verify it has a positive stop for the mechanical advance. 16-18° initial, all in by 2000 rpms, mechanical advance to achieve 36°. Stock the distributor comes with super slow mechanical advance setup.

the original latches are far better then this design. its the aftermarket weatherstrip thats the problem. i did the 06-11 honda civic coupe seals fits perfectly no slamming doors anymore..

The seat is way to far back,she is literally sliding down the seat to push in the clutch. Would be way easier to learn if she was sitting with the seat properly adjusted so she can actually reach the pedals. But she still did great ,good job!

My doors close just as good . What is the purpose of these? These doors close good with stock latches. The square bodies need something like this along with hinges

Still have the one for the passenger side, some reason that side still closes like butter with the factory latch. Although the driver side would almost need 20 full swings before it would shut

The latches are awesome. well worth the money. The fenders are like every new production body panel Iv ever gotten, you got to modify and do little body work.

The only issue now will be the door seals not letting the doors close like you show letting the latch close freely-I have done many seals on c10s, square bodies, 3100s, all years, and its always the same story- the rubber is too tight-

It’s a nice upgrade. No more slamming doors to shut them, yanking on them to open them, or worse case they open while you're going down the road. They are definitely worth the money!

Yes but the kit comes with a nice C-notch plate.
