I work at a luxury, boutique hotel not in Las Vegas but I can tell you both from my job and traveling experience that any and all hotels do offer upgrades once at the front desk. However, hiding the money is just foolish. The front desk workers will never be able to take your money as a tip and upgrade your room for free. Cameras don’t matter, there are literally nightly audits in place and manager reports to prevent an employee doing from something like that.

I hate people that say Casinos are always the winners. They’re idiots that don’t know how to take whats given to them and put it to their advantage. I’ve been gambling legally in Casinos for 30 years and illegally for 43. And I never once left down. And I usually go to Vegas 4 times a year and my local casino weekly. And yes I started playing poker when I was 5.

If you're planning on going back before closing, I do not recommend it. Most slots don't work, and they are not attempting to fix any of them. The slots were also super tight. It's kinda sad that they didn't assure a positive experience for people coming the last time

Such a shame to see it go. The Mirage was always my place to stay when visiting Vegas. I loved getting a suite on the upper floors since you needed your key to access the lift, which meant my claustrophobic self was unlikely to share a ride up or back to the lobby. In all my years staying at the Mirage however, I have never once seen that volcano erupt.

I've used this several times. The worst result was a "sorry we have nothing available" and getting the 20 back. The best *by far* was an upgrade to a suite, show tickets, and a $40 on-site dining voucher. The typical was just a slight room upgrade which was still worth it for $20.

I have heard lots of bs from other players at blackjack tables. They DO get upset anytime you don't play according to book. Every time I have allowed this to alter my play, I lost. F - other players. The real regulars are often the ones most full of imbecilic crap. You don't HAVE to play book if you don't want to. If someone else has an issue with that, tell THEM to leave. What you will here often is "YOU took MY card". That's always nonsense. And the truth is that it's just as likely that you "fixed" the deck as it is that you "messed it up". Those people are losers .
