BIG disclaimer for anyone doing this modification. Unless you're skilled at applying thermal paste, don't just use ANY paste you may have or buy. Make sure you buy non-electrically conductive thermal paste, such as the one Erica recommends. Any slip up on the paste making contact with anything other than the SoC will potentially short those components. If this is your first go around at applying paste, please make sure that the paste claims "non-electrically conductive." Or that it doesn't contain metals.

I would love to switch out the analog sticks on my unit as I’m experiencing stick drift, but I have bad history of doing a DIY project, so I will just use joy-cons or another controller of some sort on my Switch Lite

I love swapping parts on my switch, but the soft touch coating on extremerate components tends to get flaky/wears off after some use. When I had a white joycon set from them they ended up getting dirty after awhile as well and it was very noticeable

I‘d love to to this with the atomic purple shell. But last week I messed up a New 3DS badly and now I‘m afraid of modding. 😅 I‘ll try a Gameboy Advance first and I also have to swap out some Gameboy Game batteries. Step by step. But it‘s so much fun and I love the results.

Have you come across replacement backplate vent filters/stickers? I see ones for the regular switch but they're a bit larger than the Lite. Also any recommendations on what adhesive to use between the LCD and digitizer if replacing the digitizer? I see listings for adhesive foam that fits between the regular switch LCD and digitizer, but nothing for switch lite.
