I watched this scene maybe like 50 times and there is something surprised me every time. That is only Roman had a courage to see his father. I always felt like Roman was always the weakest. I think this was the one of the moments that make people grown up. He knew he had a duty to do. He sensed the necessary of seeing their father last time and even though his brothers and sister couldn't do it because they were afraid of reality of their father passing. He kinda did it for his family. Roman is the nicest character even though he looks like he is the devil.

The way kendall doesnt say anything in the end is pretty gangster. Like rome said everything that needed to be said perfectly nothing else need be added lets go. Mattson may have had the last word but by that point nobody audience included doesnt even care what mattson has to say after rome.

Although obviously is a ridiculous idea that Logan would consider Greg for such a job, from his point of view he was just told thst Logan wrote his name on a paper, and that in the same paper Kendall is chosen as next CEO, he has no other context than those 2 things so it is kind of a valid question lol

I, thankfully, have been blessed not to experience a sudden death of a loved one thus far in life. But this seems like we are actually a fly on the wall watching others handle it in real life. The writing, direction, single shots, and of course acting are just…impeccable

Rewatching this scene i see roman as more selfish than empathetic. The same way they tried to manipulate the women from the cruises, it only benefits roman to keep tabs on Kerry, esp a moment like this could inspire a lawsuit down the line. With this idea in mind imagine how it would be perceived to see this woman you believe to have had an intimate relationship with your father, she is in distress uninvited at his wake, and she begins to cry to you with the hope that you will listen, insisting that your father promised and made preparations to marry her. This could be a crisis and marcia has done some damage that youre not sure the full extent of.

Sarah Snook is incredible. When he says she's like her dad at the end, that little noise that makes and the look in her eye... She's trying to sound cool but also that's all she's ever wanted to hear. I think she wanted to be like Logan more than even Kendall

This scene is absolutely devastating. The masterful direction, coupled with Brian Cox's phenomenal performance, makes Logan Roy's final moments utterly heart-wrenching. The subtlety of his collapse, the faint whisper of 'Matthew', and the subsequent silence is chilling. The tension builds slowly, mirroring the family's shock and disbelief. The close-ups on the characters' faces capture their complex emotions - Shiv's horror, Kendall's panic, Roman's numbness, and Connor's bewilderment. The sound design is equally impressive, with the abrupt shift from lively conversation to eerie stillness amplifying the emotional impact. It's a stark reminder that even the most powerful figures can crumble in an instant.

Impeccable answer from Tom. Madsen was throwing a curveball trying to get Tom off his feet but the answer is both funny, insightful into American psychology and low key confrontational enough to garner some respect.

It is amazing how this Series gets one thing that people usually can't understand. True manipulation through power happens not in the orders or the screams of the powerful people, but in the subtles movements. Of course Logan has to scream and show power sometimes to intimidate those around him...but only as an extreme measure to show everybody what he's capable of. But in general, in daily interactions, he doesn't need even to speak everything that he's thinking, just some expressions, some questions...and his will will be done. I've been around this kind of interaction enough to understand it. And that's why even when these powerful people fall, you can't make them accountable for all that, just because they didn't give "the orders" or said nothing to "do this or that", but if you were with them at the time, you would've known exactly what they wanted you to do.
