I’m a data analyst, here’s what I’ve understood from his weight class histogram, his information sources are not openly disclosed. This usually means to take the information provided from sources like this guy with a grain of salt. (Not bashing) here goes: Based on the histogram analysis Distribution Analysis: Candidates with lower lean mass (below 64 kg) are primarily not selected (black bars). Candidates with a lean mass between 64-66 kg and higher (up to around 76-78 kg) have a higher proportion of selected candidates (gray bars). Summarizing Observations: Lean mass correlates positively with selection likelihood. Higher lean mass generally increases the chances of being selected. Threshold summary: Lean mass of 64 kg and above seems to be a significant threshold where candidates have a better chance of selection. Again, his information doesn’t accurately represent, nor depict, the actual results for these tests and in case you don’t know, : seal training information like what he’s offering isn’t openly available to the public. So chances are this is biased info from a bro.😎 If you want to hear a personal account, check out Jason redmans personal account on his experience with his class. (The small scrappy guys usually make it) and he’s not the only one to say this as well.

What is the time limit for push ups and sit ups? And are they push ups with arms out to the sides at the bottom?

I overdid it. I was doing three rucks a week, the longest being 12 miles. That would be my leg day. I had serious problems with the high carry events because of that. DO NOT neglect your squats. When I went back for round 2 I made some corrections and did significantly better.

Front squats almost guaranteed to increase fatigue.. yes the load will be less but generally speaking it’s an unfamiliar movement to most. Almost in my experience front squats have a much longer recovery time than traditional bb squats.I find it very hard to believe this is better than just decreasing load and adjust tempo in the back squat but your the expert supposedly 😅

12-13 min is not fast walking....that's a shuffle or fast trot. Whomever made this is wrong. low 14's is a fast walk. I'm 6'2" and ruck three-4 times a week.....7 miles a go. I average low 15's and when building up to an event....go high 12's to mid 13's at a jog.

One of the biggest challenges for prospects trying to get into the pj/CCT pipeline is basic training. 2 months of basic and losing all those gains in the pool. Yeah you’ll run in basic but you won’t see a pool till the entrance test. So whatever you think you need to be ready, double it because you will lose 2 months of training because of basic training.

How do you start training for ruck running?
@jamesfisher8476Ай бұрын
BUDS DUD here, I wish I did way more running and weighted running
@fullglorywr8322Ай бұрын
Also if you ruck run, you want to land on the balls of your feet so you absorb the impact better. This will save your heels, ankles, and knees a ton of trouble in the long run. The only downside is really strengthening your calves so that you don’t pull the muscles near your achilles tendon.

I guess some exercises that could help is farmer’s carry to build trap,rear delt, and shoulder strength/endurance. Also deadlift and squat can improve how the weight feels. It makes it feel lighter.

Wait why can I only ruck once a month? I want to build up core strength so I was planning on rucking every week…
