The ad segue at the end made me cackle. Me, thinking: "I'm so glad at least that our society has gained enough wealth from industry to not have to knock each other's castles down as often as before" [artifact of economic systems intrudes with extremely minor annoyance] "BURN IT DOWN!!!!!"

I want to hear more about the sensor management for achieving such an accuracy. Being able to achieve such an accurate estimation of position and velocity is absolutely insane.

I am a Virgo by Boots Riley is such a great example of forced perspective, they build the set and even certain shots in real space and used knowledge of the set designers who had built sets for this sort of thing before cgi, he gives a great interview about it.

2:10 how does this machine's operator reach up the beam from the base? U know, to wind it down again and reload with a huge rock for the next shot? Is there a ladder or something to hinge the base gear system to the beam finger ?

Great video, but you never discussed in details how the booster can nivigate with pin point accuracy. GPS alone is not enough as it is notoriously unreliable for pin point accuracy. The Military have a separate system that can do that but it too can be off by a few meters.

I’m doing a paper on theme park phycology and this video helped out a ton. I’m not using this video, but it did help remind me that theme parks don’t always have “to scale” structures. Thank you so much!!
