This makes me wonder, could Obi-Wan have beaten Darth Malgus? The jedi he fights, can't remember his name, was considered the master of Soresu and not just a master, THE master of Soresu of his time. Obi-Wan is also considered the master of Soresu of his time as well, at least Obi-Wan by Revenge Of The Sith's time anyway. Could Obi-Wan have beaten Malgus since he beat Anakin on mustufar? Anakin was considered the most powerful force user of his time and a master of his form, Shien, in his own right. And Darth Malgus himself was a practitioner and master of Shien as well. I know there are a few factors in Obi-Wans favor with his win on Mustufar. Like his familiarity with Anakin's style having trained him AND Anakin's arrogance leading to his loss. Also Darth Malgus was a sith lord during a MUCH more tumultuous time for the republic and had fought and beaten many Jedi Masters during the war while Obi-Wan only fought a few like Maul, Oppress and Greivous who were sith trained, and Dooku. The question remains though. Could he have won?
