Im a new comer to the series, and I never play an JRPG game, does Suikoden I and II remaster is difficult ? Is it good for starting? Thanks !

Imagine a suikoden game when the main hero must do time travel in the previous suikoden games era, but in different location or known events. What if we can experience : - Odessa (before rebel army) & Mathiu before S1, when Shu & Apple are still his student. - Clive, Elza and the Howling Guild before S1. - S3 period, but it's in Tinto or other Suikoden area/town. - Neclord destroying Victor's village. - Sindar before becoming ruins. - The journey of Georg after S5 or Humprey before S2 Etc... That would be a great nostalgia 😊

Beat this game in Navy in 2009. I own all Suikoden games. All. Tiekreis is the best RPG on the DS period.

Kalau Rikimaru memang ada hubungan dengan Silverberg, seharusnya ada cerita tambahan kalau kita membawa Rikimaru di Final Boss (Beast Rune). Karena disana kita bertemu Leon Silverberg. Tapi memang tidak ada yang pernah mencoba. 😅

I have a theory. That peshmerga and Yuber are actually the same person but the true rune of 8 fold has a curse that splits you into 2 people and you virtues and inner demons have to battle it out for supremacy. Whoever beats the other gets the full power of the true rune.

My theory is that Yuber and Pesmerga are manifestations of Yin and Yang (the black and white circle found in South Korean flag). Both of them are one in nature, but represents the opposite of the other. Just like a human being who has dual personalities. One is the dark side and the other is the good side. Like your inner demon and your inner angel. But in nature they are one, which is you yourself. Yuber embodies Yin which is black and represents chaos. While, Pesmerga embodies Yang which is white and represents order. These symbols are the representations of balance and harmony. If one is taken out or exceeds the other, there will be a shift in equilibrium. Thus, in order to preserve the balance and harmony, Pesmerga is constantly tracking and opposing Yuber who loves to spread chaos throughout the lands.

In case it hasn't carried through to the current generation, SuikoX articles were mostly treated as satire upon release. We weren't taking them seriously at any point. Source: I was a mod on the forum for years.

I swap Suikoden 5 and 2 as 5 is the best for me the story pace just perfectly done if there were some parts that i dislike then that would be the brightness of the graphic as i prefer Suikoden 2 calm colors, also out of 5 main games i ranked 3 as a complete dog shit, even with so many flaws 4 has i enjoyed 4 much more than 3 even Suikogaiden was much more fun as i can gets some background story for the characters. my exp with Suikoden kinda similar with yours as i've also got it from a bonus when i bought my PSX and just choosed Suikoden randomly and it was my 2nd RPG after FF7 which makes me love JRPG since then.

I'm actually the same as you. I'm part of the "don't care enough" team. I was even confuse when I first met people who care. Maybe because even though Pesmerga is the character that always at 10+lv from the protagonists every time you recruited him; He's to late at the part of the game, that eventually I never used him. So its easy to forget him especially because as you said... there's not enough crumb of story about him and Yuber.

Have to humbly disagree. Suikoden 3 was by far the best rpg in the series. Best story, more challenging battle system and hardest game of all 5, loved the trinity system, best opening song and most memorable cast of characters I've ever played in one game thanks to Trinity. I still think about the story now in my late 30s and missed how they don't make games like this anymore.
