This spell confused me so much when i got it im a tank build with not great intelligence and alright faith and the damage it did when i used it i was convinced that it was bugged like most of the dlc item's lol but o didn't even need to optimize it for it to be good 😂

It is 3 projectiles that are able to hit 3 times per projectile with each tick of damage doing 200-500 bleed buildup meaning that you do 9 ticks with each tick doing massive bleed buildup

And also the tracking on that thing is abysmal, in certain distances it can go through or not hit its target or if it does the attack doesnt stack so be aware of spacing when using this spell

You acquire it in Messmer's castle near his boss arena, though it's right outside where you avoid a couple of enemies and go off the side of a platform where you land on another platform right below it, the spell will be right there behind a bat enemy.

@@MajesticMoanope it’s in the Shadow Keep. I can’t remember exactly how to get there but I think the guy below probably said it. All I remember is you drop down off a ledge onto another ledge with a bat.

Currently replaying the DLC in NG+ for footage. I decided to use this for the first time against Messmer. Brother, he got HUMILIATED. 1/6 of his hp per and I didn't spec for thorns at all.

Ahh, lightning. Pretty cool for pve. Borderline unusable for pvp. You're just never going to realistically land something like Lansseax's Glaive or Ancient Lightning Spear / Strike. Hell, they might even get you punished.

Anyone on water takes 15% less fire damage but increased 15% lightning damage, which also spreads in an aoe. This effect is also present during rain, but without the aoe

I kinda miss its original form where instead of the secondary spears doing the lightning strike, they pierced through enemies. You could line things up and hit like four at once a lot of the time

Discus of light is freaking amazing considering its fp cost and spamability. You can just throw 15 discus and watch the health bar melt. Also great for clearing mobs.
