Fun fact about Thops. If you read the description of the Thops' Barrier spell, it says "Future generations will learn. They will know the foolishness of the sneering sorcerers who ridiculed this theory, little realizing that it was in fact a discovery worthy of a new conspectus of the academy." Thops was basically a savant. Couldn't cast most standard sorceries, but could come up with an entirely new spell that wasn't based on any before it. I really like his questline, as short and sad as it is
