My mate had a new one for 3 days a month ago. There was absolutely no space for anything other than a rear luggage rack which also holds thd upper windows when removed. My wife originally loved them, until she experienced this one. Everyone was very unimpressed. The dash looks like floor vinyl. I'll keep my 21 year old BMW Z4, much more practical with a quite decent boot.

Hi Sam, need your guidance. I have a 997.1 GT3 RS. Based in Norway. Came across your excellent content recently. I am considering carnewal valve controller and sharkwerks center muffler bypass. How much difference do they make together? I have tested the sound by disconnecting the exhaust valve controller, and the beefier sound between idle and 3500 rpms makes a nicer experience, so I am sold on the carnewal.

Horrible colour. Goodwood Green , White or Black is OK otherwise Yuck. The space behind the seats is not for groceries, I found my Water Ski fitted perfectly.

I've a 70th Anniversary model 4/4 with a Duratec engine as well as older Plus 4's ('57 and '63). All great. For me the traditional chassis car with an engine around 2 litres is just right. More power isn't needed and may cause you to come a cropper. Some people are buying the new hyper cars without the skills required to control them in poor conditions. Meantime, my very first car was a Ford engined F-type Morgan three wheeler too which you used to be able to drive at 16. I've driven them for - ouch - 50 years! I'd go with a Duratec 1.8 or 2 litre car, or the great TR engine or Crossflow in an earlier car, either on twin 40 DCOE carbs (which sound great too). Throttle bodies work well on the Duratecs...

Would be nice to know how much it cost to charge

Hi Sam, expat Englishman in the US here, hope you still have your E63S wagon! I've had mine for 3 years now but every now and then I like to watch your video 'cos it makes me smile....just like driving my 2021 E63S wagon. It really is a bonkers machine and I don't ever see me selling mine (wagons should be listed as a Class A drug). And now I know where the button is to raise the car height! Mine gets driven every couple of weeks to go get the groceries (90 mile round trip) or load it up with 80 bags of mulch (takes 4 trips to the DIY store to do it) every spring or, well, just to go out and shut a few folks down! We're lucky enough to also have a 2023 Mercedes EQS 580 in our garage, that thing is no slouch even in Drive mode but without the suck, bang, blow of the M177 engine (particularly on the overrun in Race mode in the many tunnels where we live) it's just not the same. Stay safe and between the kerbs.

I have a 2024 model v90 T8 hybrid and it's very good. More recent models come with 18kwh (15kwh useable) battery; using battery only I can get a range of up to 40 miles in winter and up to 50 in summer. I got 50mpg on a 200 mile trip to the northeast this week (including using about a third of the battery - saving the rest for in town driving / motorway jams) - some of the motorway driving was in 50mph zones which is definitely the sweet spot for the petrol engine fuel economy. Goes like stink if you really want it to (300bhp petrol engine plus electric motor now 150bhp) but even on battery only, the acceleration is brisk as power kicks in instantly. Sound system is superb.
