Even though the Sheika Slate was a commercial failure, it's hard to argue that it was an amazing console- I mean, piece of technology and more comfortable than the Purah Pad. The Purah Pad, on the other hand, finally perfected the technology. It's thinner, lighter, and if I recall correctly, had detatchable sides? I might need to play through these two games again.

Maybe cause japan doesn't have this weird obsession with green being an evil colour even though its the colour of life and nature

I never understood how the Purah Pad (sampled from the Shiekah Slate), can interact with Zonai tech. You open doors with Rauru’s arm, but somehow, can teleport to Shrines using the Purah Pad?

I don't understand why people would think the green was a hardware limitation. Not only does he change tunic colors, as stated in the video. But the green used for his tunic and the green used for the bushes and rock structures are different shades... If they had to use the same color they would have, but they made a conscience decision to make it different.

The thing I, just a personal take, hate about the Champion's tunic is that it looks like an oversized shirt. Twilight princess take on the whole outfit was just, awesome.

That Otutsum shrine was genuinely the most disappointing thing, not only is it just a random Rauru’s blessing, but it was also the last shrine for me and just felt so anticlimactic

From a more practical point I prefer the slate over the pad. I own replicas of both, and the slate is much more sturdy and can be carried easily on your belt. Whereas the pad is very fragile and due to its size and shape doesn‘t fit in any of your pockets or pouch. (Unless you‘ve got a magical one like Link does. 😅) However you cannot carry the Zonai battery and the Sheikah slate at the same time. As the battery looks so cool. I prefer it as accessory, but then again you also need the arm… Cosplaying Link used to be much easier and cheaper in the old times. 😂

I never deleted Zelda’s photos in tears because you cannot ever get them back 😢

I have that secret mural tilte screen on my save and I did all sages,shrines, koroks, main quests

When zooming to the map with Sheikah slate, it take like half a second to render the map. Where the Purah pad take almost instant to render the map.

Its funny that the green gear has no stats that are upgradable ive tried in botw and totk. I had recolored the hood and pants to white with the champion shirt having to stay blue which looks good

I really liked both the slate and the pad pretty equally for their own unique uses throughout the titles. I like the evolution of Link from BOTW where the slate acted like a guide to help him with his recovery and provide a crutch when he needs it. And the pad in TOTK was more of a direct means of navigation since he's confident in the land of Hyrule again. Great commentary on the two!

I just want to say that I like it too.

My favorite place to get arrows is Kakariko Village. Go up the platforms behind the Ring Ruins and you can get up to 20 in one go. Just make sure not to cross the red flags or Dr. Callip will call you out.

For me i think gloom is what happens to malice when totk gannondorf power is infused into it as a very important thing about malice is it not new thing to the seires and seeming a normal thing or something created by demise.

Not only that, but you have to do 50% of the “dungeons” before having access to the complete 120 shrines. And prior to Champion’s Ballad, that left you only 2 Divine Beasts before storming the castle properly to face Calamity Ganon. I really wish the Champion’s Tunic was compatible with the Dye Shop so I could dye it green.😭 If they were Hellbent on the champion blue motif, _Hyrule Warriors_ pretty much already solved that with the blue scarf/sash Link wears with his green outfit. _Age of Calamity_ even lets you unlock that one though you pretty much have to finish the whole game before you can access it. Would love to see the cutscenes with him wearing _that_ outfit while Zelda still had her old outfit on since you can’t switch her back once she goes goddess mode aside from swapping her to her winter garb.😒

The reason the pins are numbered 0 to 4 is because the pin numbers are stored in an array (like this one [0,1,2,3,4]) inside the switch and when counting, computers start at 0 and so that that is why they are numbered like that.

I always loved the sheikah slate. The wii u is such an underrated console in general and especially compared to the switch. When totk was released, I was really disappointed that they changed it to the pad. I hate the switch cause its such a weak console that can only run games at 30fps, and I've always hated purah because she was annoying in BOTW. I also just think the slate looks better, and ties into the actual story and game mechanics better.
