what online setup should be set in msfs2024 ? shold be online traffic ? ai traffic or no traffic? i set no traffic an i have only not moved planes on ground and no traffic from injector

I dug a little deeper and tweeked my curve optimizer on my primary starred cores which for me was 2 and 1 on the cache ccd. I also changed my perferred ccd to Cache im getting 100fps in the air and when leaving ewr I had 100 aircraft all around me 0 stutters. Getting 5025mhz-4825mhz and thats with fsltl,say intentions, ai flow,ai ground and active sky I get 50-60 fps in NYC area airports I'm still digging

@@laihimchan8540 Hi! The copilot can handle everything. FSHud has realistic instructions e.g. arrivals and approaches based on weather.

i find hard to input the data in mcdu so never able to land the plane ,so hope this software can help like full take control of the plane

@ Yes, and frequencies can be auto tuned. ATC will assign a runway and approach. And it’s possible to use the interface on a tablet. And FSHud controls all AI traffic

The update broke the instrument textures in the inibuilds airbuses unless texture resolution is set to high which is annoying. On my lower end system textures really impact vram 😢

Hello! Thank you for this tutorial. I have followed it step by step and can´t get the AIG traffic to show up in the sim. I am using Addon Linker as you are. I do not know what to do. Should I repeat the AIG setup process from scratch?

Hi! Make sure that you have these three folders in the community folder: aig-aitraffic-oci-beta, aig-aitraffic-effects and aig-aitraffic-modelbehavior

In the 2024 community folder I have these folders: aig-aitraffic-oci ( the folder that was renamed from aig-aitraffic-oci-beta to aig-aitraffic-oci when I open the MS2020 installation with the new AIG Manager 1.3.0.5, and that I have copied to the 2024 community folder, as instructed, aig-aitraffic-effects and aig-aitraffic-modelbehavior. Is this not correct?

Hello, what type of aircraft models do you use for air traffic? Because with the AIG ones, the landing gear isn't visible, but I see that with yours, the landing gear is visible

See you are limiting autofps to 200TLOD, any reason why you're not going up higher? Think I remember from previous videos in FS2020 you'd even go further than 400?

In theory, AutoFPS should not increase TLOD higher than what I have headroom for. But still it can tend to do that - hence I get marginal headroom and stutters. So I usually set TLOD max 200, especially when flying complex aircraft, as a "safeguard".

Great vid. I have this. The international terminal is 5 stars. Domestic is 2 stars. Feels like they rushed the release and didn’t optimise domestic terminal. So I only use international terminal!

i have a 4090... dlss on performance looks perfect on CERTAIN airplanes..... with the fenix, on the ground on a small rural airport i get 18fps.... me personally going back on taa EDIT***** nevermind... the HUGE loss in performance, from 60+fps to 18 is due from me changing the LOD from 120 to 200....

Very nice video! Questing, the iFly 737 Max, is it a program that runs along side the sim like the Fenix? or is it installed like PMDG aircraft? Just curious as I'm still trying to decide between the Max and the Fenix for my second study level purchase. Keep up the amazing videos!

Thanks! Yes it runs an app called the iFly Manager externally, sort of like Fenix. If you like flying Boeings, I highly recommend the MAX. I'm really looking forward to it getting ready for MSFS2024!

@beastblood2five Just set TAA and check it. Its not like you can't change it back later. I have pretty bad CPU for MSFS because its only Ryzen 5600. Also I had 16 GB RAM but I upgraded to 32 GB and this boosted my fps by alot.

Good results here with 2.000000 sec scaling. Use a 4090 24gib vram & 7950x3d 32gib ram

As many people have noted, this might cause a significant drop in performance. It might not work with RTX20-series and below. Even with my RTX4090, it does cause the GPU load to go up to 90% and above - and VRAM usage increases. Setting secondary scaling to 1.5 might help - also trying DLSS ultra performance or lowering the resolution.

All of this made my framerates worse. Especially from 1.0 to 2.0 it made my FPS go from 50 to 15. Apart from upgrading dlss to 3.8.10 which is very easy to do with ''DLSS swapper'' everything else is wrong and dangerous. They messed up my settings

Good one. A small hint: Don't use secondary scale over 1.5 with GPU VRAM less than 12GB or in VR. Better to use 1.2 - 1.5.

I was messing with doing 1.3 or 1.5 it works but will still impact performance. Most people making videos on this have 4090's lol.

@@budgetflightsim I have 4080 and with almost all in Ultra settings (Did my settings what AirNOTT went thru on his video for 4080) and FPS and quality really good. This made my FPS half. I did try this for ghosting ones before, but no luck then either. TY for the frame gen stuff. DLSS I have already switched using DLSS Swapper.

When planning a flight, within the menu where you can pick multiplayer etc. you can set a time and then choose "Weather - Preset" there you can set "Live" so you would have a custom time + real weather.

@@NorwegianDrone Wow! Forkastelig er et veldig sterkt ord. Det er MANGE måter å bruke simulator på - ikke bare hvordan DU gjør ting. En sånn kommentar viser at du misforstår fullstendig. Vi snakker her om en kommersiell flysimulator/spill som kan brukes på uendelig mange måter. Det er sjelden jeg blir sjokkert over kommentarer på kanalen min, men det du skriver er det mest sjokkerende jeg har lest så langt!

Hi CaptPiett and thank you for this video. Your setup seems very close to mine except for activesky. Thats why I have a question about that: it seems that for this flight you mainly used Activesky to get the historical weather into simbrief so that FSHud could then choose the runways for takeoff and landing correctly, am I right? Since MSFS2024 now has historical weather for the last 24 hours, could you have left activesky off during the actual flight and just rely on MSFS weather? Or would you not recommend that?

I prefer Active Sky as I think the clouds are overall more realistic. But no problem using default historical weather - that works too. But you're right, when making a flight plan with historical weather, I use Active Sky to upload the weather snapshot to simbrief.

ENST just have a 1200meters runway. To short for a 738. It needs a minimum of 1800meters. Its only operated by Dash8-100s in reality.

Yeah, most of the runways in Northern Norway are too short to land safetly with a 738, so what I do is not in any way realistic.
