I really appreciate this clip because often I hear Josh minimizing this aspect of biblical slavery in attempts to debate Christians, but it's nice to hear the other side of biblical slavery too.

As a Finn, I need to remind that duplication does not directly mean two different stories that are patchworked together, but that repetition can be a form of storytelling, as is the case in old Finnish folk poetry, because it facilitates the memorization of oral tradition (such as "Ilmarinen struck down the fire, Väinämöinen blew out the flame, with those three eagle feathers, with those five crossbowes"). Therefore, it is more important how something is said and in what order than that something is said twice (for example, the two creation accounts in Genesis are two separate, sequential stories and not interwoven together).

"King" was an epithet of Baal. This is referred to in the Baal cycle where Baal earns this epithet as a reward. And the burnt sacrifice of children at the place called Tophet and the place name of Tophet corresponds to what archaeologists report about the Punic rites of Baal-Hadad at Carthage.

Sumerian is archaic Tamil. They both share the same phonology, typology and a good chunk of the etymology as well. infact I dont know of any other language which shares the same phonology as Sumerian, Tamil. The coincidences are just too many to think otherwise. In fact Tamil has some Akkadian and Elamite words as well, which would mean either the Tamils are Sumerians who moved to India from Mesopotamia after some conflict OR Tamil moved to Mesopotamia from India. There are many similarities between Sanskrit and Tamil as well. which seems to suggest they are all branches of a common ancestor.

The question, since such an argument has been made many times, is the Gospel of Mark a purely prosaic and fictional writing and copy, or rather a Judaized version, of the Odyssey and the Iliad and that the Jews made up Jesus to replace Odyssey?

And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it. Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and with the purtenance thereof. exodus 12:8-9 ///7 And thou shalt roast and eat it in the place which Jehovah thy God shall choose: and thou shalt turn in the morning, and go unto thy tents. 7 Cook the meat, and eat it at the place the LORD your God will choose. deuteronomy 16:7 ///////2 Chronicles 35:13 King James Version (KJV) And they roasted the passover with fire according to the ordinance: but the other holy offerings sod they in pots, and in caldrons, and in pans, and divided them speedily among all the people. ////// Lmao. what a bald-faced liar.

For me, take the expulsion of the Hyksos, lose the ability to read and write during the "Bronze Age Collapse", ferment the narrative in oral tradition for a century or two, and boom: "Exodus." And my bonus hot-take: "The Conquest of Canaan" (33 cities) is just appropriating and misremembering the conquests of Sargon (34 cities). I mean, talk to any fisherman to learn everything you need to know about the human propensity to exaggerate.

Why do you persist in your foolishness? It's easy to prove Daniel was written in the sixth century B.C. because that was when the sexedecimal number system was in use. Everything was based on the number six, and it was only when the Greek empire arose that it became based on the number ten. What are the dimensions of the statue Nebuchadnezzer built to honour himself? Sixty cubits high and six cubits wide...all based on the number six. That means Daniel was written in the 6th century which proves that the prophecies he recorded were real prophecies because they were given to him by the real GOD. And there is one other matter, the story of the Magi who came from the "east" to worship the King of kings Jesus Christ by following the star that led them to Him. How did they know about the star and that it would lead them to the King of kings? They knew this because Daniel recounts how he had been put in charge of Babylon's wisemen...and he told THEM about the star and when it would appear and to whom it would lead them. Anytime the Bible uses the word "east" it's a reference to Babylon. What did Mathew have to do with Daniel? Nothing. This is just further proof that the Bible contains such amazing interlocking truths, that there is no possible way mere humans could have devised the Bible by themselves.

I do recall Jordan Maxwell saying that the Israelites were a polytheist society instead of monotheist religion. The books of the bible had been reshaped, copied, plaguarized, and represented for social control over the masses.

For me it boils down to the fact that I cannot prove god doesn't exist, nor can I prove god exists, but the more fundamental point is why should I care? I have not seen, nor experienced anything that would conclusively prove that any kind of god is operating in my life. So why would I care if one exists, because if it did, it sure doesn't seem to give a damn about me or anyone I have ever known, or cared about.

1:02:15 Nope... Not greek for male on male, sexualized or "explicitly erotic" as claimed. Greek words for love - Agape (divine love, Godly love) Philos (affection, dearly held), Eros (romantic, sexual love ... erotic) ἐφίλει (ephilei) is used 3 times in the New Testament: John 11:36 Ἴδε πῶς ἐφίλει αὐτόν (Behold how he loved him), John 15:19 τὸ ἴδιον ἐφίλει ὅτι δὲ ([If ye were of the world, ] the world would love its own), and John 20:2 μαθητὴν ὃν ἐφίλει ὁ Ἰησοῦς ([the disciple] whom Jesus loved, and saith...) These are philos, not eros, and speaking of the disciple whom Jesus loved in terms of your claims would be eros.

One can CLEARLY SEE that it takes one male and one female to procreate throughout creation. ACCORDING to God's word you are without EXCUSE. The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who SUPPRESS the TRUTH by their OWN wickedness, since what may be known about God is PLAIN to them , because God HAS MADE IT PLAIN to them . For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities His eternal power and divine NATURE have been CLEARLY SEEN, being UNDERSTOOD from what has been MADE, so that people are WITHOUT excuse.( Romans 1:18-20) What follows in the context? Homosexuality. Because of this , God gave them over to SHAMEFUL lust. Even their women exchanged NATURAL sexual relations for UNnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with LUST for one another. Men committed SHAMEFUL acts with other men, and received in themselves the due PENALTY for their ERROR. ( Rom.1:26,27) If you are a Christian that disagrees, and you believe that homosexuality is ok, then why is there a PENALTY? And why is it called a ERROR and SHAMEFUL? Christians don't hate homosexuals, they are trying warn them of their future ACCORDING to God's word. Sodom and Gomorrah was an EXAMPLE For those who live that lifestyle afterwards. ( 2 Peter 2:6 and Jude 7) Unfortunately TRUTH is now considered hate speech.
