An interesting video. Thanks. However, I wouldn't overestimate the degreasing of paint. Why? Example Exo. At least 15% petroleum content. In addition, I (unlike other detailers, admittedly) observed NO disadvantage by using Essence.

How does installation of cs ultra differ to csl? How long do you let cs ultra sit for before wiping off?

Csu is a very overrated coating & absolutely no way that sees anywhere near 9 years . There’s far better options on the market that overhyped product . As for Exo v4 that was probably gtechniq worst coatings they have made with absolutely awful durability . V3 was better & that’s something.

I remember watching the video around 5-6 years back or more, I still come back to watch it sometimes, best orange peel removal vid on yt, very satisfying to watch.

you could also work it by hand, those are tight areas

Only downside to removing OEM orange peel is the amount of clearcoat that gets removed to achieve that flat glass finish.

I'd be really concerned about the fibres generated from the cut edge of the Kirkland cloths? Is this still the method you use or have you updated it? Great video by the way and very impressive workshop.

We were told by Gtechniq you only need to wait 1 hour to apply Exo over Ultra, I dont know if that's because I'm in Australia were the weather it different or not, also we dont apply exo twice only the once, which again i dont know why??

sign BMW use a easy color mixer they mix between color and clear coat...if they use a top layer clear coat you need fucking professional person need it done.

Hi, which Gtechniq product would you use on a matte paint car? I have seen both C1 and EXO4 used on their own and also together. I've also heard that regular use of C2V3 is effective if used regularly.

I may have missed it in the video but what shampoo did you use? Gwash or W4?
