80% of international students are mostly doing business courses which is not in demand anymore for immigration purposes , make sure you're doing a in demand course like health care or other in demand courses , they are not giving pgwp for business courses anymore so if your are planning to come to Canada for immigration purposes make sure you do your research first before coming to Canada

Without mincing words, Canada is no more d super attractive destination for international study. Events of recent past has greatly limited options for PR which is d major advantage of Canada over other destinations. It's now wise to consider a backup destination if Canada remains a first choice. 10:42 it seems those smaller province like Atlantic regions offer easier pathways to PR through there provincial nominee program but the problem I have with them is that I heard that the Job market is not as favorable as it is in Bigger cities like Toronto and Vancouver if not I would have considered it. I don't know how true it is and i also heard the weather is not very friendly but I'll still consider it sha, fingers crossed 🤞

@@mercurius6352 There are jobs but d pay isn’t as much as bigger provinces like Ontario.. Secondly, if u get d PR you’ll be stuck in that province for at least 3 to 5 years

You have all the information. choose big cities with more opportunities and much more competition (warmer climatr relatively) or choose a colder region with more PR opportunities but fewer jobs (and fewer people too)

I came here for my Masters in 2023 and graduated in October 2024 right. I applied for my PGWP in September 2024. The rule changed. It now takes almost 5months instead of up to 3 months to get the PGWP because of the current backlog in permit processing. I'm still waiting for mine meanwhile work is hard to get both professional and all other kinds of jobs because there is just too may immigrants after Canada opened its boarders after COVID. Also some of my classmates in the Masters Program were given 1 year PGWP. When we apply for jobs, employers are very clear, they start with Canadians, PR Holders and then Work Permit Holders. Its their right. I thought I should just share just in case it helps somebody make an informed decision. Also, I came with my daughter, without her dad. Don't do that. Its sooo hard. I don't wish it on anyone. I almost lost my mind. Stress was unbearable. Masters Program is no joke. And Canada's education standard is very high. My daughter is the most adorable thing I have ever had but its been hard to really care for her while I am studying. Plan well. So much I didn't know which I thought I knew. But thanks God I passed very very well. It was not me, it was God carrying us. I juts had to share my reality in the Masters Stream and the PGWP and the coming with a child without my partner.

If I will be applying for the caregiver program, will I be required to submit the international passport of my dependant family immediately or after submitting my application, then thevCanada immigration office will then request it.
