This is a great and in-depth presentation of the reality of relocating, not only to Canada but also to other countries. A reality many don't consider before a relocation. It is worth it if you are determined to learn and grow. I do not live in Canada but in Europe, and there is nothing strange about what anyone is facing in Canada. Thanks Seyi, your videos are always very inspiring and insightful.

You have a country to return to. Canadians sadly don't. When Canadians say it's bad you know it's bad now. Canadians are living outside in tents in minus 30 degrees. Get real. No housing no jobs and Canadians starting to boycott business who hire newcomers so will really be no jobs. Just too many people

Thanks Seyi for the balanced pros and con's on coming or living in Canada. I strongly support and agree with your experiencial and expert opinion to still make Canada a home. Personally because of government failure, bad governance in my home country, things not working, lack of peace, insecurities, and so many problems i prefer to relocate elsewhere far more better than where i am coming from. Most importantly, challenges are everywhere but it is better to face it where there is hope, peace and value for human life. Canada4life Canada4Jesus Life is better here o IJN ❤

Thank u madam for the excellent submission. Immigration is and will always remain a challenge in all corners of d world. The only issue I have with Canada is d blame game on d two groups of international students and visitors who are great contributors to their economy in tuition and shopping unlike d asylum seekers with almost zero contribution and whom Canada has been carrying their burden worldwide without any proper planning! However my family and I will always make Canada our first choice destination simply because of d flexible pathways to citizen which is d greatest benefit of immigration anywhere. We can then explore any other part of d globe with d Canadian passport. Period
@SeyiObasiCanada2 ай бұрын
Graet point you have made. It baffles me as well that Canada fails to see the contributions of these 2 groups you mentioned. True when one has the passport, one can decide to go elsewhere. so many people do that

I would expect a highly paid lawyer to be educated in Canadian law and pass the bar in the province or territory in which he or she were educated. A lawyer educated in Uganda would not make sense in a Canadian court. This person needs to return to school. Canadians need to be protected from phony documents and unscrupulous criminals that sell/ purchase false documents, lie and cheat. Innocent lives have been lost and lives destroyed by people claiming to be professionals. We have standards that need to be safeguarded. So imho some professions should require years of retraining to be eligible to enter and have the full support and confidence of citizens. I was disappoibted by an experienxe with a vet that said my cat was aggressive and charged over 600 to sedate just to obtain a blood sample. I had a very difficult time understanding the doctor's English. The cat was 14 and I never had an issue with the previous vet in understanding or with cooperation from the cat. I have taken the cat to a different vet and experienced no problem with aggression and no need for extraordinairy measures to obtain a blood sample.. I imagine it is difficult moving to a new country where language is a challenge. I agree with you to work hard and persevere. These are Canadian values.

There is not such a big difefrence - professionals just need a bridging certificate and should be fine

It is good to educate others with reality, but some immigrants' still stay joyfully in Canada. Relocation to western nations involves some adjustments and it is better to be prepaid for the challenges and eventually get adjusted gradually to the new homes. When some newer generations of immigrants are not ready for a change, they always complain while some embrace the challenges and live happily in their new homes.

Any. Country you go where your money value is lower than your own you will find everything expensive all over the world homes rent are expenses so it is not fair to say only in Canada I know 50 years ago I was sharing a room with three girls life was tough in uk we as students were not allowed to work I honestly think todays youth like to criticize too much before they come they should check it out otherwise better not to come study in your own. Country and learn online now a days so many things are available and once you have your degree and are working you can apply to come to Canada being a student you can have a luxurious life you have to earn for it unless your parents are rich
@SeyiObasiCanada2 ай бұрын
thats a very strong point you made. as long as the exchange rate does not favour ou, things will be expensive
