There is so much we don't understand about sound. Why, for example, nature has developed an organ in humans to aesthetically perceive one of the cosmic primal laws of the universe as music and at the same time an organ that produces a reflection of this primal law as sound in a complex way that is not yet fully understood.

Wie macht du das Geräusch ab ca.) 5:22 hört sich nicht mehr wirklich natürlich an 😮 also sehr intressant krasse Resonanz merke fast wies mir die Nacken haare aufstellt 🙈 hatte die Melodie zwar nicht gleich zu 100% erkannt aber bis auf 2 abweichende Noten war ich aufm richtigen Dampfer... also annähernd 😂 Ich bedanke mich für das coole video da mir gerade so paar Dinge sehr klar werden mit denen ich mich schon lange beschäftigt habe

I’m pretty sure I have strohbass locked in my muscle memory because I can’t do Kargyraa at all. Even when I clear my throat it’s strohbass lol I can do a lot with it and sometimes it almost sounds like Kargyraa. Is anyone willing to let me know what I’m doing exactly? Thanks

okay so weit so gut. Unsere Chorleiterin hat uns auch so etwas erzählt, aber was hat das mit Chorgesang zu tun? Wird, wenn alle ähnliche Obertöne singen, der Gesang insgesamt harmonischer? Lernen die Sänger mehr ins Detail ihre Stimme zu kontrollieren und zu beobachten?

Wenn man das Gehör gezielt auf Obertöne schult, beginnt man intuitiv zu erkennen, wie Vokalobertöne den Gesamtklang bereichern. Da Obertöne naturgemäß rein sind, fördert dies eine klare und präzise Intonation. Gleichzeitig wird das Sängerlebnis auf eine neue Ebene gehoben, da harmonische Vokale eine gemeinschaftliche Resonanz erzeugen. Dieses Phänomen kennt man: Singen neben bestimmten Sängern fühlt sich fließender, leichter und schöner an. Dies geschieht, wenn die Resonanzen harmonisch zusammenklingen.

Danke für das tolle Experiment und die Erklärung. Ich war im 2. Step bereits dabei! Ich selbst kann bereits Overton singen, praktiziere es aber sehr selten. Leider bin ich in der letzten Zeit schwerhörig geworden und höre die hohen Töne nicht mehr. Musik klingt daher ganz anders und verzerrt. Es hilft manchmal, wenn ich die mir bekannte Melodie mental ergänze, mithöre. Gibt es eine Methode, mit Oberton-Training das Gehör, bzw. Gehirn, in dieser Richtung zu verbessern?

Too top top. Hab die Melodie anfangs erst bei der letzten stufe gehört, konnte sie dann aber immer verfolgen

That was actually the ugliest part ;) and also the most difficult, because you have to make a noise to make the left vertical line of the E and you have to keep three resonances at the same time at the same distance.
