I just grabbed the same guitar! Paid $200 locally for a Korean '09 Dean Shadow ML that just needed pickups. Dude crammed a Duncan Mick Thompson Blackout Bridge in it with half of an EMG harness. 🤦‍♂️ Nonetheless I cleaned it up and got it playing. Bought a Wilde Bill & Becky L500XL and today someone listed a Schecter Synyster Gates Standard for $100 so I'm gutting the Hot Rod FR Special out of it and slapping it in the Dean! 🤘 Still debating on which neck pickup to put in it.

what a killing tone , damn it...these dime pickups are really worthy , I mean it's way more cost-effective than most metal pickups like zakk wylde's. Anything from dean's or washburn's dime guitars never dissapoints

I bought my Dean from hell for $150 from some crackhead that didn't know what he had I thought he had the price wrong I was going to meet him to pay $1,500 and when I asked him how much she wanted for it he said $150 I couldn't get the money out of my pocket fast enough lol

I own a Ltd M17 7 string in satin black but mine has a reverse head stock and I absolutely love it. Budget but awesome. It is super comfortable to play.
