I like the showdown as it has Dimebag's necklace on the 12th fret, but I love the dean from hell so much too because it's amazing. I actually ordered a dean from hell yesterday, very excited!

@@MaxilentProductions It's one excellent guitar, i can do dive bombs without it falling out of tune, the dimebucker is absolutely awesome to get the real dimebag tone (won't ever sound exactly like dimebag because of his own playing style). and the C shaped neck with a slight V shape is just super comfortable to play, resting my thumb there is just so much better than a regular c shaped neck (my opinion). It's comfortable sitting down playing in that standard playing position or in a flying V position. Great for shredding and heavy ass riffs. Only negative thing about it is that the tone control was loose when i got it but fixed it easily. If i was you i'd go for it, amazing guitar. stay metal mate

I have the DEAN-DIME SIGNATURE-CFH SHOWDOWN-FLOYD ML, Made In Korea. The Korean version has the USA DEAN CUSTOM SHOP DIMETIME Bridge Pick up. It's USA made & handwound at the DEANGUITARS USA Factory Facility & Worldwide HQ in Tampa. It's totally a secret gem of a high gain bridge pickup! This bridge pickup came installed as stock only on the Korean series of the SHOWDOWN ML production models. The pickup produces a tight focused bottom end, with enough mid range to make it very versatile, when backing off the gain and/or volume just a bit. I like this pickup so much, that i purchased another made in Korea Showdown that had its neck broken in 2 places (at headstock & at set'in neck joint), just so i could cannibalize the pickup and associated electronics. If you happen to come across a DEAN "Korean Made" Showdown Floyd ML that's for sale, purchase it!

The new dean Chinese dime models compared to the same guitars that were made previously in Korea with worse licensed Floyd's are lightyears better right out of the box. If ur nervous bout the Chinese models dont be they're sent to dean hq in the usa and checked off by the same dudes who are making the custom shop usa guitars and then sent to distributors just like the great prs guitars. Dean has completely switched up their game and the guitars are what dimebag would ok rather than what they were selling previously which would need upgrades to be on par with these new Chinese models I have the new fbd and it's amazing keep dean alive and check em out they got a bad rap from previous models out of different factories they've listened to the players and revamped the whole dimebag series invest in one today you wont want to put it down

The only thing good that came from the Chinese model was a Floyd Special. The Korean models are the sought out models for a reason. They are made with much better materials and tolerances. They are much heavier than the Chinese model. I have a 2006 Dime o flame from Korea and a Dime 3 USA Washy and after I installed a German Floyd and a 59 Duncan in the neck, There's not much difference.
