Strings don't buzz because of age your strings are buzzing because of bad intonation or you need a truss rod adjustment

Try putting a little piece of foam behind the locknut under the strings should help you out with the string buzz

I’m getting this, but have heard a lot of complaints. Apparently a lot of idle buzz, the tuning heads digging into the wood and the bridge cutting up the body

Lol! Funny you say that i have been trying to get it for years I still thought I was off. I use a randall 120rh just for the clean channel and a little reverb, pedals I use a full bore metal with a built in gate, Marshall Regenerator for a mild chorus flange effects and a MXR 6 band EQ to boost whatever signals I need to boost (highs, lows, mids). Thanks man!

Yes! The legendary "E-FLAT" tuning. Gives the guitar output soundscape a darker edge to it's tone, while keeping it's right bottom end. Also, it's very helpful to a Lead Vocalist. Makes getting around the vocal scale much more easier and that becomes important when your in a giging/touring band, putting in at least 3, 40min to 45min sets.

jake lee i think the showdown is made in china and the shadow is made in korea. They Look almost identical except showdown has a floyd special and dimebucker in bridge and the shadow has a ping tremolo and "bladebucker"

ur mom yep all deans are set necks( except obviously bolt-ons) There are a few years that were made in japan in the 90's at esp's factory that are neck thrus such as the original blackbolts. Mine was made in 94. Awesome quality !!!

The Korea production models and the Indonesia production models are excellent. The reason being that both factories we're set up by the legendary management teams, responsible for manufacturing Ibanez, ESP (Edwards), Jackson, Fender (Originally Squire/Bullet lines before embracing Stratocaster, Mustang & Tele lines) in Japan. Today these production set ups are infused with American production personnel from (DEAN/ESP, who share these massive onsite factory facilities), in order to oversee that the elements that the "Western" guitar player/buyer looks for in a guitar, remain intact and strong in the process.

Did you have issues with your dime o flage staying in tune? Cuz I rarely have tuning issues with mine. You probably didn't set it up correctly or just neglected it! Now that I think about it, I rarely have any issues with it lol! There is an old saying which I think may apply here. " It aint the Bow and Arrow...Its the Indian behind it"!

Dean Randalls when did i once mention my dime o flage? It was the fact that the razorback i owned had the tuner install wrong or the fact the intonation was out i think I'd know how to set it up i payed money it should have Played better the razorback v i owned looked awsome but the floyd posr were wrong
