Loved it mate. I have fond memories of Bornholm. Right where you camped, I woke up one morning with one of my sons and there were thousands of herring beaching themselves to get away from the salmon that were eating them. We were picking up herring and pinning them on a hook and getting a salmon a cast. Theer were Hundreds of birds feasting on the beached herring at same time, and big sharks out behind the salmon, incredible place. An old local told me once that the place is a "Hospital Reef" where injured and tired fish hold up till the next years, migration so there are always salmon there. I have never had any issues getting out, but I always camp overnight and travel out early while there is still some moisture in the sand.

Been fishing there for over 60years. Used to walk down the hill. The track was put in with a old grey Ferguson tractor. Bloody epic spot to fish

Nice rig. Question: What is the total weight of the package inc trailer all up? Topping out at 38knts is pretty good for a big vessel like that

Hi mate, the total package on the trailer dry is 3.5T
@jb243wp18 күн бұрын
@excessivefishingaustralia2849 That's pretty good considering the size of it. I was towing 3.8t with my 200 series, it was obviously over weight 😢 😭 😢 but it did it easily. Good luck fishing. 👍

Hey mate, love your channel. Quick question what brand squid jigs do you use or recommend using also sizes colours etc any help would be much appreciated Thanks.
@excessivefishingaustralia28492 ай бұрын
Hi mate, thanks👌. I dont really have a favourite brand of squid jig, I just like the white, pink, and the purple/black. When it comes to size, it depends on where your fishing, they are pretty aggressive so don’t stress to much about size, it’s more the weight, if your fishing shallow, go a lighter jig and work it as fast as you can while still keeping it under the water, you don’t want it popping on top, hope this helps🎣
