Recorded last month. It had been a while since I had cradled a guitar. I started messing about with old songs that I could just about remember. This one was written roughly 13 years ago. On a weekday afternoon. In the summer, I had been with a friend or two on a bench by the big pond/small lake at Platt Fields. I was playing some songs, preparing myself for the first ever open-mic I was to play at in a Fallowfield bar the next night. When I found myself home alone that night, I scribbled a bunch of words onto some scraps of paper. I was thinking about some drunks at Platt fields earlier who were pestering mainly students for money etc. One guy started talking to us, and he smelt like soiled pants. And he told us a story or two about himself. While that sorta thing was in my mind. I wrote some words down.
