Like it seems many others have pointed out, I think the lack of true 1:1 accuracy is, at least in part (along with licensing and ride limitations), to leave it more open for the player to expand the park. Six Flags is quite DENSE as people don't really want to walk through a forest to go from ride to ride. If you make a park insanely dense, it will be overwhelming to players and many will not know where to begin as they would have to destroy stuff to even start making new rides. Leaving some big open spaces gives obvious "expand here" spots. So, they made the park look recognizable as Six Flags, but still gave you spots to expand while not feeling overwhelmed.

I find that in rct1 at least, assigning certain handymen to certain areas and assigning them to only empty trash cans and sweep, helps with the vomit problem. I do the same with mechanics , some are assigned to certain areas or even a certain ride and assigned to only repair, no inspections and the time to get a ride back up and running is much quicker.

About trackless boat hires, if you really want a trackless boat hire (in OpenRCT2), you can use the tile inspector to hide the track pieces. If you want a trackless boat hire in RCT Classic or vanilla RCT2, just put it in a small body of water (such as the penis-shaped lake in Factory Capers)

Wait, could you just put a third "no entry" sign on the queue so that some guests can bleed through onto the ride? Like next to the ride entrance has two signs facing each other and a third sign at the queue entrance so that bleeders don't leave the line. If that works you can have your cake and eat it too. Infinite queue capacity *and* ride revenue without having to fiddle with signs. I call that a win-win.

Well, you are wrong, that's how physics work.... The ACTUAL brachisto-mumbo-jumbo curve is faster because it does receive more energy because it has higher drop because it goes BELOW the level of the exit station, which is the entire point of the brachistosthingy curve.

8:30 Nope the launched mode exists since RCT1 (without extensions). Also the boosters were available back then (needed extra research). What a pitty that you didn't grow up with the original RCT1...

This is an RCT2 overview, not RCT1. I did know that and I did grow up on RCT1, although it is something I could've mentioned.

The whole point of guests falling/drowning was because that's possible on a single tile, whereas you cannot do that with queue lines.

Guests will ride any free transit ride. so a tiny elevator with no exits makes perfect sense to trap every guest ever while you get distracted building rollercoasters despite a high gate fee. Because why not. All at the cost of a single dancing panda.

The absolute dreamscape nightmare of forever needing to use the toilet, paying for the toilet, almost getting to the stall, and then being outside of the toilet. All while like, 1000 other people do the exact same thing and fit in the same tiny space as you. … … I’m pretty sure I’ve been one of your park guests in my nightmares.

So, if you remove the No Entry sign that is facing the ride entrance building- are all those queued peeps able to go on the ride without breaking the trap? You might be able to get some absolutely insane throughput numbers having 65k guests constantly bumping the ride entrance, because the speed of the queue line walk seems to set how fast they can enter the ride.

13:41 The max in mph is 65,356 which is really close to 65,536. So I wonder if the hard code max is 65,536 in mph and then is converted to kph? Not sure if it follows the same rules as currency where it just changes the units without conversion or if it's actually calculated to convert.

The fact that Marcel can keep creating content ( and the RCT2 community as a whole) shows not only how great of a game it was and is, but the ingenuity of the player base.
