The three original Harry Palmer movies are staples for me,i find myself watching them at least three times a year. I do own a copy of the fantastic For Your Height Only which i show to anyone willing to be introduced to its absolute brilliant insanity

no such thing as any pre-edo period ninjutsu or ninja centric martial art. Even stephen turnbull figured that out after a lifetime researching the subject matter as a bona fide historian. The Bunjinkan and other supposedly legitimate lineages tried to get verified and have ninjutsu classified as "Koryu" in japan, but always failed.

i grew up in the 80s and i was obsessed by ninjas, i kept drawing ninjas and making throwing stars, and climbing trees playing ninja all weekend. I was annoying my mom and dad to enroll me in ninjutsu class, but thankfully they never did..

tbh ninja III could be the best one out of all of the hollywood ninja movies of the 80's Its either that or revenge of the ninja. The opening scene where the posessed ninja kills like 200 uniformed cops was crazy

Thanks for the trip down memory lane. I remember watching a couple of these things. This was back when men were men and women were women. I don't ever remember a woman complaining about it back then but maybe they did. I always thought the whole thing was ridiculous.

I've worked with Mark Frazer (Frank Washington) Really nice guy! He actually did a LOT of stuff for this film in particular, like some of the dubbed dialogue and a lot of the improvised lines. He even put out that poor burning stunt guy when the film crew wouldn't do it. I like he's a legit good actor, he just doesn't get as much expose as he deserves.

I don’t know how to put this being as we’re talking about Samurai Cop and me being the biggest B-Movie fan out of every single person i know but i have to be honest and say that i only got ten minutes in the first time i watched it before turning it off and thinking to myself there’s crap and then there’s this. “But” thankfully i saw the light after watching a video about it on KZbin. I could not believe I’d sacked it before and after such gold was on the screen especially as my favourite part is the van chase at the start (I’ve never laughed and loved a scene so much in years). Samurai Cop is on a list with the likes of Miami Connection, Street Trash and LA AIDS Jabber as the must see B-Movies every fan should watch.

I’d of included The Junkman 1982 the follow up to absolutely amazing Gone In 60 Seconds 1974. They were both produced, written, directed and starred the late great H.B.Halicki who sadly died after a stunt went horribly wrong while filming Gone In 60 Seconds 2.

Jan Michael Vincent's story is sad as he apparently was really good to work with until his troubles spiraled. Ernest Borgnine said he'd show up to film Airwolf and knew the entire script.

In the 90s I saw a movie where a nearly invincible alien could flee from containment from a space ship and landed in LA if I remember correctly. A solider from this ship and lone survivor went down to hunt and kill the monster. He teamed up with a woman from LA. Maybe she was a police officer or a journalist. Can't remember. It was a cool scifi/horror mix of Alien and Terminator. It was an American movie and was broadcasted in 2 parts in Germany so it was at least 180 minutes in total. Would be glad If someone knows the movie.

13:30 Good god show me on the doll where Buck Rogers hurt you. That was most lazy callous review I've ever seen. One, Buck Rogers isnt a tenth as 'annoying' as you are. Out of 40+ episodes you cherry-picked the worst shots and ignored any serious plot line. As a young kid I looked up to Buck as a man's man. Two, turning made-for-TV movies into series was standard practice, happening over and over in the 70s and 80s with shows like Battlestar, Dallas, Fantasy Island and Six Million Dollar Man. It wasn't nefarious or to "kill the show off," as you ignorantly claimed, but betting on hit so they can squeeze more ad revenue for years, rather than a one shot movie. Learn the business better.
