Hey dude! I’m thinking about buying a Microtech Hera II OTF Automatic Knife. Thoughts? It is so expensive I’m just wondering it is worth it.
@DocP91B2 күн бұрын
@@Stracera I'm not an expert on OTFs. So I won't tell you that you should or shouldn't. I will tell you yes, they are pretty expensive. I will tell you that I have heard Microtechs (I don't own one) are very good. I have worked on at the shop because the owner wanted his refurbished and Cerakote, and I really liked the action and it felt pretty solid.

@ Thanks for replying back man! Would you say they are better than Kershaw OTF’s?
@DocP91B2 күн бұрын
@Stracera yes, I'd say they rank higher than Kirshaw. But if I had to pick a brand I would say look at Axial. All made in the USA and I have 3. They are very good, great materials, and will save you quite a few bucks over Microtechs.

You missed the Elf patch.
@DocP91B2 күн бұрын
@@dalefelsman4586 I thought I included the elf patch. I might have forgotten to edit that part in. You are 100% correct - I forgot all about it when I first went through the box and the had to film an extra part about it. I had intended to splice it in. I guess... I blame it on the cat.

Skill share is 9.99 a month and you can learn everything from edible plants to ham radio operation, I’m not paying for a box to look for self teaching projects, and the skills that they teach in that box are so basic most have been common sense

@@scotlackey9819 can I just Google skillshare? I subscribe to Masterclass and it has some phenomenal courses, but they are more academic in nature. I would definitely check out some more practical stuff!

@ I think you should start your own company doing same thing, you know what a good box is and you have made a lot of contacts in the industry with good companies, you could start small with a pack and then things to fill pack up throughout year until it’s an entire survival kit, I’d subscribe and I bet 80% or more of your followers would subscribe also, I’m quite sure you could do best box on market because these other subscription boxes are leaving people wanting….. @scotlackey9819 here's why I won't - I know it's hard to do. Or at least hard to do at the cheap price people really want. I won't set people up to be disappointed. I'm not a business guy. I know my limits. Running a company and providing services are not my thing. Now... If I could partner up with someone that was really good at running the show while I worked on just the product... Maybe.
