Question about the Polaris lounge. When you arrive, how long did you have to wait to be seated? (after you get your name on the list) I'm flying Polaris, April 2025, on a 787-9 (or -10), with my son, and his wife, on a 12 hour trip to Tokyo, from LAX. I figure that they will take a middle pair of seats, next to each other, and I'll take one of the "hidden" window seats. Does the price really change, day by day??? PS. I was going to fly out to LA, from Chicago, but decide to mix "old time" Transport, with modern. I'm taking Amtrak, out to LA.

America uses high fructose corn syrup (300% sweeter then any real/natural sugar, it's also Genetically engineered), we use sugar cane; Also you use dozens of highly carcinogenic chemicals, colour (colors) and flavours(flavors) preservatives etc, i wouldn't eat anything from America...

Thank you for a great review . I 'm surprised to see such a service on united Polaris service . I have taken Polaris many a times but did not have a great (service ) experience . I am hoping to see this kind of service on the San Francisco to Auckland in this coming December or my wife will be very unhappy.

I agree, this was not the first time we have taken Polaris and service isn't always great. Maybe it is the route? We had an amazing experience and the flight attendants were so nice and wonderful. And the food was better than it usually is on United. Enjoy your trip! New Zealand is one of our favorite countries! happy wife, happy life!

It's very pricey, but once in a lifetime. I'm already losing weight and getting fitter, via walking, with the Bridge Climb as a goal...not the only goal, of course, but an achievable goal. I'm willing to pay the money to say, on my eventual death bed, that I did something, and achieve a goal I spent most of my life thinking was unachievable for me...I'm 51 (I'll be climbing the day after my 52nd birthday in Nov). Money comes and goes, experiences like this, achieving personal goals like this, only occur once and stay with you longer than the price has been forgotten.

Most of the comments from people from other states and cities in Brazil, it is nothing but ENVY! Not that Rio de Janeiro doesn't have problems (all cities in the world have to some degree), but Rio is far from the list of the most violent big cities in the country.

My first marathon was yesterday, Sydney marathon 2024, I did no training, just parkrun semi regularly and i found it easy. But thats because i eat healthy high carb low fat vegan and ran it mostly zone 2. Didn't find the hills brutal and no blisters or any feet problems. But thats because i was wearing fibram fivefinger toe shoes with 3mm rubber soles instead of 2 inches of foam and a carbon plate.

@@samandnick I did it last year and then again this year. Last year was absolutely brutal! 37 degrees Celsius or 98 Fahrenheit. This year was a beautiful 17 degrees Celsius or 63 Fahrenheit.

@@samandnick yes they did. they took ~50 metres elevation gain out and removed the HM so the marathon could start earlier incase of unexpected hot days like 2023

I took most of them but the guide we had had experience in flying a drone so he was nice enough to get the shots for us! Recommend our guide 100%! His info should be in the description of the video. But to answer your question, the people working there will not be able to fly your drone and you need to get permission which the guide should be able to do!

Dude if you think Batur is difficult then you are really unfit. I would recommend Batur for those who are not at all fit and not experienced hikers. You must fall in that category so well done for hiking Batur. For those viewing this video and viewing the comments, if anyone is fit and an experienced hiker like myself, dont bother with Batur. It's too short and easy. Not very rewarding at all. If you want the view of Lake Batur, go hike Gunung Abang on the other side of the lake. Balis 3rd highest and much more rewarding and a better view.

😂😂😂 It wasn't that difficult as far the trail but we were going very fast and didn't take any breaks so we could get to the top before the mass amount of people got there but that is impossible. Also we didn't know what to expect before hiking it and didn't have the proper shoes which we recommend. Also, you are 100% wrong about not being rewarding. If you are lucky and get a great sunrise, it is one of the best sunrises I have ever seen. But we have been told if it is too cloudy than you can't see much , then I can understand it might not be worth it. Thanks for your "expert" advice from an experienced hiker 😂

I'm glad you guys got to see the Beauty of Jasper, it sadly had changed in the last month.... Wirdfires has foreced the towns resisdents to leave and a 1/3 of the town is gone. The Ice fields parkway was closed for a long time. It's sad and wont be the same. Many tourist spend more time in Banff over Jasper. Its nice to see folk focus on Jasper

Wow we didn't know that!! That is so sad. We were there last summer when the fires were really bad and we thought that was the worst of it. I am glad we got to drive the parkway, now I feel so lucky! The national parks are some of the most beautiful places we have ever been and I am jealous you get to live over there!

Honestly.. luck! I looked everyday and it defeinlty took some dedication but the award chart kept showing 250k one way but somedays were 100k but didn't fit my travel plans, then one day I looked on my dates and I saw 100k and booked ASAP! Once you see it and think "i'll come back later and book it" that price will be gone so never hesitate! or wait to look until you are ready. or try seats.aero! Godspeed!

Been great these videos. We're looking to go in April. We are probably looking at 7 in Rio, 3 Iguazu and 2 Sao Paulo. Would you do more/less in these places? How did you find using a drone, any issues? I want to take my mirrorless camera, but nervous as of potential robbery, did you use a phone or proper camera?

We loved Sao Paulo so I would do another day or two there if you can. If you like Japanese food, Sao Paulo has veeeery good ramen and many other types of Japanese food! The food scene there is so great! I had no issues with the drone and we filmed on two different camera during our time in Brazil, Sony a6300 and Canon R6. We used the Sony more often because of theft but anytime we filmed, we were always on the lookout, just to be safe! Always have the camera strap around your neck just to be sure!
