The 3 position selector switch on the 845 is EXTREMELY useful for... position 1- light touch fastening that would normally be done by hand, position 2 - re-installing HVAC covers without stripping out the holes, position 3- turning anything large with the most torque and speed possible.

Have you noticed it soften any finishes at all? Paint on the undercarriage, any rubber boots, brake lines etc.? Does it soften anything long term?

9:55 the site claims it can output up to 100w, but for some reason it only includes a 65w usb c. Not sure why they don’t just give you a 100w

I will often use a couple with different bits so I don't have to keep switching and I'll keep some in the garage, some in the basement, etc. or if I have a friend helping out we can each have our own...it's a bit excessive though :)

@@SomeGuysGarage holding the same angle as you rotate around a piece is required for all shears, I think what you’re struggling with is the angle these are at cuz it’s a drill, also these are useful for cutting taps into completed ducts, and thicker metal, definitely doesn’t replace hand shears.

Don't have any of those in my collection...there's also the mostly forgotten 40v stuff, and they had some 36v for a while too and even a 28v. Really the 12v, old 18v, 20v, and 60v are their most widely used batteries.

Pick up the 2 speed. It corrects the truck. The 1 speed lacks torque and top speed.

@@SomeGuysGarage it makes the truck what it should had been. The light kit with tail lights and brakes all programable by 1 touch on esc. Traxxas designed these features in on day 1. The foams and mt bajas good upgrade. Stock tires no grip. The light bar kit is too bright.

Why did traxxas wait 3 years to release the 2 speed. The 2 speed reduces the hum. Mode 1 no drag brake. Mode 3 100 percent drag brake. Mode 3 no brake. Forward reverse only.

@@SomeGuysGarage yes. Recently past month traxxas released a drop in 2 speed for trx4m. It crawls nice with constant torque without the bind and hop and hum noise over obstacles. High gear is really fast scale speed. Put this in the bronco and ford truck. Enjoy them both. The 2 speed comes with an original motor . Easy to install with perfect instructions.

@@SomeGuysGarage yes trx4m . The new traxxas 2 speed upgrade motor trans part. 50 $. The truck no longer binds up when crawling and top speed is fun. Manual shift. Easy access.

Strongly recommend safe and sound in the ceiling before you install the drop ceiling - it will be difficult to work around all the rails. Good call on the drywall and mudding!

Watched a few od these now. Actually useful info to think about when prepping the service truck. We only have so much space. Are these dewalt battery's interchangeable or anything? Im usually a Milwaukee guy so im not familiar with DeWalt at all.

What are the measurements on the 5ah and 9ah flex or stack? I have a Dewalt pressure washer that calls for a 5ah min, but want to put in a 9ah. The problem is that the battery is enclosed in a case.

You choose to deal with another country with no real international service. “Policy” is a bad word with you guys. It’s expensive to maintain international service. I don’t know this company. But tiny bit of research shows they are pretty small. It’s 100% your responsibility to know who you are buying from. If you can’t deal with it yourself look else where.

The dcf801 with a 2ah battery against three impact drivers of 20V with 5ah batteries wasn't a good idea. You should use the 5ah battery for the 12v or 2ah batteries on the 20 volt. Maybe next time! Anyway, good video.

It's what I had, most DCF801 kits come with the little 2ah....so just acts as a reference point for those considering it. It was never supposed to be fair to put a 12v in with the 20v :)

Minor performance improvements with the bigger battery. I used a 1.7ah powerstack because it's about the same as a 5ah in performance. I mostly use these impacts with the 2ah though day to day, nice balance of weight, power, and runtime.

DCD800 is where it’s at. If you need hammer, then step up. But for everything else, the 800 and a power stack battery is where it’s at.

Agreed, the 800 is amazing. The 805 if you need hammer is the same drill as the 800 basically. Yeah the bigger 999 or 1007 are more powerful, but if you need more hammering step up to SDS.

Because they actually try :) As far as I know, there's nothing actually special about the v6 in the Macan, it's just a standard hot V twin turbo v6...but they've tuned the exhaust sound and definitely feed some extra fuel into the exhaust for pops/bangs and it's valved so a more free flowing path but without a hack muffler delete.

Which engine do you have? ECU tuning is "safe" if done safely, it's up to the tuner...but the odds of getting any warranty coverage on engine/transmission/drivetrain goes out the window.

They really do get better with more wear. They are a niche tool for sure, a wrench will always be the best tool, but as far as having something like this and a cobra in your glovebox or backpack on a motorcycle, gives you way more insurance than having nothing at all.

For low torque applications, just holding a nut, or loosening off tooling on the mill or whatever - I prefer them to wrenches, since I can have one pair that does all the sizes :) don't have to guess and bring 3 wrenches with me to figure out the size.

Is this a good self propelled push mower for daily landscaping? Saw one for 600 bucks is it worth it? Or should I go with a cheap 50 buck random brand option if I’m starting out? I want something that’ll last going through thick grass all the time till I can afford a ride on mower

If I were doing it day in day out, I'd definitely want a Honda or other pro brand, not a piece of junk that'll never start or is noisy AF. This one isn't self propelled but they do have models that are if you can find them still.

So the wall power supply from this pack is marked 100w..UK model.. however it wont charge laptop . It will charge my phone at highest level. Also the battery adaptor will only accepr power from the dewalt wall charger, it wont accept power from a generic 100w usb pd pwwr supply

That seems odd...I know the UK model was the full 100w, not the 65w we get here. It should accept any usb pd compliant charger too? Though I've heard issues where the negotiation doesn't go ok if they both want to be the source or the charged device.
