I appreciate you being thorough, but it's a super long video with really just a couple of minutes of what people come here to see, which is the room and what was done. If you want to go to the essence, start at 7:45. If I can suggest something -- its much better to show what you're doing then talking about what you will be doing. I dont think anyone cares about what WILL happen so much as to see it in action.:)

Hi there, Alyssa. I need to ask that for aPHR, what is the passing percentage of exam? Is it difficult to pass or manageable if i study for two months seriously?
@authoralyssaclay2 ай бұрын
I would say that if you study seriously for 2 months you’d be likely to pass. I believe the passing percentage for the aPHR is about 80%

I don't remember the name of the product but Lowes and Home Depot sell it. It's a surfactant spray that you use when applying peel and stick wallpaper. What it does is allow you to smoothly shift and slide the wallpaper and makes toweling much easier to get out air bubbles when hanging. It's basically the same method used to apply stickers or window tint to glass surfaces. Or you can make your own surfactant which is basically the same as kids blowing bubbles but with less soap; Water, liquid dish soap and vegetable glycerine. Hope this helps. PS, The room is Gorgeous 😍 I love it. ❤

I love the color and pattern of your wallpaper…I think once you fill your walls with photos or objects, the wrinkling may disappear or at least not be so obvious. I do think the bookcase paint is a bit too dark…but I like the whole idea. Good luck!

New subscriber here. I'm very much enjoying your channel so far. I've only watched a handful of videos. What brought me here is your home office makeover video, and then I stayed for the booktube content. That said, I use Libby Library, and it is a great resource. I use it for the audio books specifically so I can listen to books from my TBR while I work. Other than that, like you, I do prefer physical books over digital formats. I usually borrow from the library or purchase my physical books. Edited to add, I'm currently reaching Year Of The Witching, and so far, it is so good! I'll have to add House Of Hunger to my TBR and maybe read it for September.

I'm so glad you're enjoying Year of the Witching (I loved it so much!). I've been meaning to get more familiar with Libby but haven't yet. I usually have a mix of KU and physical books on my TBR every month. Thanks for subscribing! :)

Love the paint colour! Tip: paint behind the wallpaper (at least where the seams will fall). If there’s a tiny gap between the drops, or if a gap appears over time, you won’t notice it like you will with the white wall peaking through. Ask me how I know!

I get it. And you are right. It depends on the Author. Last one I read that did that was The Housemaid but at least it was one POV for half the book but than is switched to the wife and than back and forth between the two. But at least it only STAYED between those two. I would NOT want to know what was going on in hubbys head @_@

Paladin's Grace sounds interesting! I'm always excited to read stories featuring characters that are atypical from genre conventions. I've been toying for years with the idea of writing a chosen-one story but the hero is a retiree, maybe 60-70 years old. They'd be more mature than the average younger person -- or, at least, they'd have more life experiences to draw from -- and they'd have more free time. And fewer headstrong, flailing romantic entanglements (probably...?). I guess this interest goes back to reading characters like Granny Weatherwax from the Pratchett's Discworld series. Anyway, adding Paladin's Grace to my to-be-checked-out list.
@authoralyssaclay3 ай бұрын
I definitely think there's a growing market for mature main characters. Great idea!

Absolutely jaw-dropping. I repainted my small dining room/area dark (midnight forest) green recently, put up some hexagonal shelves and bioluminescent mushroom art on the walls -- but what this video showcases is next-level! I feel inspired.
