Now that is something. What a kick. And people want to bad mouth Hosim. Meanwhile Hosim is leaving everyone else in the dust. That is really cool. But, it is a Hyper Go. You can tell by the batteries. Hyper Go also sells those batteries in 3s. I'm not a real fan of proprietary batteries however. Does Hyper Go even sell a brushed version? Huh.

Evaporative Powder Metallurgy gears. Huh? Turns out it's a process where metal dust is compressed and heated up. It makes the part stronger than the steel it's made out of because of it's uniform density. When you do this to aluminum, it takes that soft metal and makes it so strong you can make car suspensions out of it. Real cars. Evaporative means it started out as a melted liquid and streams of high pressure air were blown through it turning it into dust. As a result, pure dust with no contaminates. it's considered green (naturally) because you can always turn metal back into dust so it makes it recyclable. It has a whole list of advantages to casting or forging. They fill a mold with pure metal dust and heat it to just below the melting point and just as it's melting they compress it. Compressing it comes from the aluminum industry and it takes all the graining and puddling out to eliminate any cracks, weaknesses, air bubbles, or voids in the part. It's a recognized process and has been around almost 100 years. It's used in pieces up to 6 1/2 tons, all the way down to car engine rods. So it's really strong stuff. Typically an industrialized process. I wondered about it to, so I looked it up. And in these little cars, the gears should be plenty strong depending on what the dust is made out of. I would imagine. I understand the RC industry is now adding Cadmium dust. I don't know what that's supposed to do. But I believe it makes it even stronger. While I'm in the "who cares" camp, I thought it was interesting and you asked; so I posted it.

Two years has gone by? Wow.The X07 can do a hard wheelie against the wheelie bar from a standstill on the grass. Stock with its original batteries. I have an all metal fully custom Redcat Volcano and do you know what it took to get that to do it? Try 11.1, 120amp ESC and a 4-pole 4900kv racing motor. The X07 is very impressive. and turned me into a Hosim fan boy. The only thing the X07 needs is a gyro. Out of the box, it handles like a monster truck which makes it really tough to straight line on pavement and the gyro fixes it right up. Stand alone gyros are dirt cheap on Amazon. And Amazon has a whole parts page for this truck now. And it's still 199 bucks.

i have a few of each of the CARISMA GT24 rally cars , the GT24R rally , the hyundai i20 , and the ford puma rally . I use a 1000 mah overlander 2S lipo , velcro-ed to the top of the chassis under the body shell , and secured further with a big thick black elastic band over and under the chassis . All i did was cut a small square section of plastic out the side of the chassis where battery tray slides out underneath and exposes the BEC battery connector so i can connect the big lipo battery . I put the old NIMH battery back in the battery compartment to equal out the weight distribution of the chassis with the motor been at the other side of the battery compartment ., plus i raised the body shell up for the best wheel arch clearance , and use some slightly bigger body post pins . I also put CNC alloy wheel locking nuts on the wheels . The cars now feel twice as heavy and twice as planted to the ground while running on tarmac . 22 mph little speed demon rally cars they are . These really simple modifications are are so easy to do and apply , and transforms the whole cars performance to another level from the original stock cars . I put the battery as near to the front of the chassis as i possibly can so that i can still fit the body shell on without interference from the battery . The front and rear chassis weight distribution feels 50 / 50 , because i can balance the car from underneath the middle point of the chassis with two fingers and the car sits equally weighted like on a set of twin pan scales equally weighted in each pan .

@dannysdailys3 ай бұрын
@@jeffrenman4146 Except that you've already lied about it. Or was too lazy to learn about it. Either way, I'm not interested in what you have to say about anything at this point. The hole in the tie rod? That's for the screwdriver they sent you to poke through and spin it. HELLO? One thing I've learned in my life is liars lie about everything. I don't even believe you have a Traxxas, and what is a Rustler? 10 year old tech? And I'll recommend Taiwanese Hobbywing any day over Chinese Castle. No, Hosim is not poor quality. Especially for the price. If you're out to destroy your RC, you will, no matter what brand it is. Including a Traxxas. So don't cry about it. Hosim is no worse than cars that cost much more. And you should have a gyro in it. It's a monster truck and isn't going to handle like a sports car. Did you try an alignment? Do you even know HOW to align one? No Monster truck will handle like a sports car, they don't have street tires; like DUH. You should have a gyro in anything you own that goes fast no matter the brand. They're under 20 dollars at Amazon. You'll pay 200 dollars for the car, but are too cheap to spend the 20 bucks to make it pavement friendly. I would tell you a monster truck isn't supposed to even be on the pavement at all. Something tells me you say these kind of things about a lot of things. Or you work for Redcat. or Traxxas which is more likely. They might lie about the competition. Or you're just an irresponsible fool who blames everyone for all your problems, which are plenty. Which is it? I've been in this racket for over 30 years and have 18 Redcats, and almost all of them have gyro's in them. And I'm running my X07, with a gyro. No problems so far. I have a Team Redcat TRMT10E and it's one of the best bashers ever made by anybody and I run my X07. And I don't beat on it. And quite frankly, I don't care what you do. Just Amazon alone, sells over 100 of these every month. And they've only been in business 8 years. They can't have old tech. The Redcat Volcano is older than Hosim and is just as junk as they were 8 years ago. Put one of those on 3s and watch it self destruct. The Ground Pounder hasn't had an upgrade since it came out. And that's what you're going to find with all the big brands.
